Icerit sits down in a chair ink well and a quill. He rubs his chin trying to think what to write. He finally begins to write.

"To Lord Damien Basileus. The people of Kaphro have moved to Vekaro, we stayed in the Decterum keep under the protection of the Marshal. They provided us food, temporary housing and protection. Your people are safe, do not worry. Our priest gave a great sermon that really lifted our people's spirits. A steward came to Vekaro and provided us with a district to live. It's different but I feel the populous is going to enjoy it here. We all miss Kaphro, but we're doing fine. I've been keeping calm and helping in anyway I can, but the Decterum and Prince Carrion have been no less then spectacular in helping us in our time of need, if possible, I would like to talk to you in person. Now Lord Damien, I hope the creator guides you through your trial, not just as your bannerman, but as your friend.

                                                                                                                     -Icerit

Sighs placing the pen down. He then turns smiling to all the refugees.

After learning of the arrest, Brutur Bellows sits down at a local tavern with a new quill and a crumpled piece of paper. After several attempts of jabbing the quill into the paper, it bleeds enough ink to form a pathetic excuse for a letter. He works on it for hours, occasionally stopping to wipe sweat from his brow or count on his fingers. When completed, he holds it up high with a triumphant smile. He proudly shows off his craftsmanship to a few locals before sending the letter. Anyone reading it would justifiably assume it is the work of a child.

Theo sat down next to his brother, squinting to see a paper he had placed in front of him, He took a purple quill and dipped it into ink preparing to write to his Lord, Damien Basileus.

"To my Lord, Damien. I have heard that you have been killed, though I find it too hard to believe that is true, hopefully you seeing this letter will show you the will of our town is still intact and that we do not blame you for our fall. As our Priest said, Kaphro will rise again from it's ashes, this I know will be true, all we need is for you to return so please come back soon."

-Your Loyal Steward and Friend, Theo Sotirio

Theo turned back to his brother smiling happily, putting the quill back into his fedora.

"Remember what you stand for, my Lord; the Orenians that have no place in the Empire without good reason. The women and children who have lost husbands and fathers to this injustice. Kind souls who want to make an honest living. None look up to Oren anymore, only the blue banners of House Basileus. Remember that, my Lord."

~Leon Triarius, still loyal.

Ben dips his quill in the ink and writes a letter:

"The people of Kaphro now reside in Vekaro. We have a small district to ourselves and have been trying to fill our time while we await this damned trial. We have nothing to return to at Kaphro. All the life was sucked away when those dogs stepped their sordid boot in. People are getting back to their lives, but it just isn't the same without you around. I'll see ya soon."

*The prison guard sees these letters enter the mailbox of the prison via courier, and he grumbles after reading them. He soon shows them to his superiors.*
