Honestly man your best bet is to get new leadership. Pretty bad at this point no offense.

Hm.

Generally speaking.. when you ask for feedback on your own personal leadership.. and "how things are vs what they should be"..

You really only publicly display your own lack of confidence.

Not a positive thing.

Don't report on questions. Report on results.

I feel sorry for you if you don't have a thick enough skin to tolerate Matt's blunt nature.

The funny thing is i'm not even being blunt, if they want me to be blunt I will be lel.

if they consider my words insults then they really need to go outside for a bit into the real world please thx.

Feel free to be blunt there really isn't much you can say that hasn't already been said

To be blunt isn't to be a martyr, to be blunt is to be rude.

I'll be honest here, I haven't had any enjoyable roleplay with a snow elf for months. I apologise if I'm being rude, but lately all I've seen the Snow Elves offering is poor bandit roleplay. In general lack of fun or engaging roleplay. I understand that a lot of snow elves can be deemed "new players", but I don't think that really is a excuse anymore. I mean take a look at this:

It may be one encounter, but one is enough to leave a bad impression of the entire race. Bandits or not. Here's just a few suggestions:

  • Adopt the Vaerhaven build style. Vaerhaven pretty much is what a Snow Elven settlement should look like, if you haven't seen it you can look at it on the map download for Anthos. It's next to Kal'Asgoth. The builds are nice, and good builds normally make people want to explore the area. Rather than them thinking "Wow that's nasty".
  • Crack down on the "bad roleplayers", by this I mean teach your players that roleplay isn't some one sided method to get something from someone. It's meant to be fun for both parties.
  • Relook at the lore, I would advise speaking to Jistuma. His idea for the original snow elves were quite interesting. He could provide new insight into how to do things if you allow him/he wants to.

Edit: In regards to what I mean in "Relook at the lore". I speak about the culture, what makes the Snow Elves "elven", and what makes them different from other elves? In regards to how they look at the world. Think about how you could adopt simple ice magic for things, or how Wyvren is worshipped. For example how is Malin seen in comparison to Wyvren? Is he seen as more important or less?

My issues with snow-elfies.

1. You guys often seem to have a lack of distinguishable culture.. you're what seems to be high-elves with cold skin and an aengul.
2. There is an ooc "whiney" attitude of sorts, for example, I and my friend Burkester went raiding on our bandits and went to you guys, naturally, you guys declare pvp on us, so we murder all of you, and you guys throw a fit in the LOOC that we were hacking, and then one of you comes back after death armored up before 30 minutes has past with the excuse "it's their home".
3. You guys stir ooc drama.

Otherwise, I'm fine with you guys existing, just take things into account.
