*As he is walking down the main hallway in Steinmacht, Sam keeps on mumbling words that could only be comprehensible by others if they were to be close to him.*

"It is finally time for Seventis to rise from the ashes, Hail Senventia!"

Favian finishes wrapping another set of rations for the men.  His dream of running a bakery would have to be set aside while the nation fights for its survival.  He looks to Erwin, who passes by the main hall of Steinmacht, "We should have enough food for quite some time."  Erwin smiles and nods, "Excellent work, Favian."  He watches as he passes before returning to gathering supplies for the people.

Erwin Vallark stands beside his people in the hidden town of Steinmacht, a faint glow cast upon his face from the forges of the blacksmith.  His men ordered to increase production for the coming storm, the defense of the people becomes the first and foremost priority.  He looks to the many soldiers who have taken up arms to protect the sacred ideals of a nation; the nation of Seventis.  "Gather all the blades we have!  We must prepare to face annhilation.  Our deeds will be rembered by many, we must not fail."  One of his trusted men sets his hand upon Erwin's shoulder and smiles.  A chorus erupts from the deep halls of Steinmacht: "Hail Seventia!"

Borin lifts a freshly forged blade.  He twirls it in his hand and sets it in a sheath, "We must be prepared."

Borin walks through the stone pathways of Steinmacht, watching as the strong flame of preservation ignites

within the hearts of his brothers.  He nods, prepared to live and die beside them.

Alpnorean smiles "This is a nice change, no one has the right to treat us worse than dirt. I will give my life for my people who have allowed me in, and I say hurray for those who agree. It is amazing how one man rebuilt what was once a great nation, and made it as if it were fresh. So much potential to uncover! I hope we all live many years to come. May we have gradchildren by the time we die, to carry our legacy!" Alpnorean yells in joy "Hail Seventia!"

Within the halls of Sevgrad, Ser Paul Ryan nods to Lord Carrion, setting out to rally the local levies. Before he goes, he sets off his squire to send a response to the Seventian people.

"Is this supposed to be a threat or an open invitation to conquest?"

Kaelin smiles to himself sadly as he hears of this.

"Reminds me of the old days of Oren in Aegis... over a century back, it must be now."

He takes out a hip flask, sighing.

"They'll fail of course, but I'll drink to their ghosts."

Ashhad Al-Mubarak spots the post somewhere along the main road of Thales, alongside his fellow, Volundr. "A moment," he says as he peruses the text. "The ingredients will remain, despite this pause. I should like to keep current on such affairs."

The note is long and passionate, its context unfortunate enough to draw out a low grumbling from Ashhad. "It would seem, then, that Seventis... or the village bearing its name has been razed. They cry for the ways of old, for bygone Al'Khazar that bent to conquest. You know the stories, Volundr, I am sure. The plague that followed... It is why my line stayed so very far away, you know. Somewhere, along our turgid histories, I believe humanity took a greater curse into its flesh, consigned to the carved hearts of our remainder.

"Whatever awful work was done has embrittled the progeny of our great past, now misused, and for what purpose? Unity through egotism, perhaps, but I cannot say for certain. I am not a man who cares deeply for strangers, mind you, but the wisest course for these men would be to pursue resilience, to endure in whatever form they should require, instead of inviting this curse deeper into the traps that rattle inside our chests... Volundr? I said a battle would be imprudent, what do you say to that?"

Ashhad throws out a frustrated gesture as Volundr pores over his own alchemical notes.

*Howard see's the message and nods.*

"It is time...today...not just Oren will fall but its corrupt religion."
