This isn't just a fantastic trailer but an amazing lore introduction for those wanting to join the server!

 

Indeed. This is really useful for some of my friends who recently joined the server. It is, however, just as useful for me. I've been gone for some time (left before the fall of Aegis), and I've been thinking that THIS is exactly what I need.

 

 

I really like the trailer/"this-happend-in-the-last-season" style. I also like how the video is somewhat like the Dragon Age 2 cutscenes (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8yoi5jpG5uA). It's a style that I really can appreciate, and it's really effective when you're trying to convey large amounts of information in a limited timespan.

Unlike many I had no issues hearing what the narrator said, and in no way did I find the music overpowering.

The pronunciation of Aengul bugged the crap out of me... It was probably right, but I still.

 

Also, there were 5 Soulstones for the FOUR descendant races? Was that a typo or did I miss something? o_o

 

But still, pretty cool, cute drawings and such.

I was super surprised in how well this was edited, illustrated and narrated. I'm proud to be apart of what it was made for.

Well played. Wasn't sure if it would be noticed.

 

The Wandering Wizard was originally featured in the edit. But in terms of delivering a succinct story, it just wasn't working out to have him in there so the lines got cut.

Nah the map delay had nothing to do with our project. Shift even mentioned in the final update that this trailer would likely come out after release.

The fact that the server is called Lord of the "CRAFT" helps to back up the fact that this is a Minecraft Role-play server.

 

I used the Minecraft-like style in the trailer because it is easier to understand and would have contrasted greatly to the final scenes that are actual Minecraft footage/screenshots.
