A large frigate can be seen sailing the coasts of Thales, eventually joining the fleet at Tuv Aviv. On arrival two finely dressed men surrounded by an entourage of dirtier, poorer men disembark the large boat and enter the town.

A port master would address the two men, asking their name and business.

The taller, elder of the two men replies “Thorne, reconciliation”, promptly the port master jots down the information and allows the Thornes passage.

During the bleak times of King Heinrik’s reign Lord Julius Thorne deemed Carrion incompetent. House Thorne had attempted an uprising against the Carrion Dynasty, too little avail it would have seemed. These actions were frowned upon by the sons of the patriarch at that time, Julius. Julius had chosen to launch an audacious attack on Schattenberg from the Island just off the mainland.

However, certain limitations prevented them and their allies from claiming the land and thus, the Thornes were cast away at sea for the duration of the Fringe.

Now, the Thornes are no longer headed by the Tyrannical Julius, but by his two sons Theodus and Claudius, more diplomatic, level headed men who seek to reconcile for their crimes of treason against the Carrions, they would be seen riding in convoy to the Sevstrad to meet with Lord Borris.
