Hello Ladies and Gentlemen!

This is a map I built in my spare time. Most, if not all of the build was inspired by Lord of the Rings, and the Lord of the Craft server. I have no current plans for the map, and would be happy to do some more in depth videos about the island if you would like. Please feel free to message me or comment with suggestions or ideas!

Welcome, to the Island of Avalon.

Any ideas for what I should do with the map?

Script:

Let me tell you the story of the land I call home. The Island of Avalon was home to many men, elves, halflings, and even dwarves. My tower sat at the base of Mount Thesius. 'Twas a rather peaceful place, located right in the middle of the island. Important meetings were often held here, for it was the safest place in all the lands

To the West, the Human city of Grandaville sat along the coast. The Men were peaceful at first, simple farmers. But as time went on, they grew hungry for power, and nothing could get in their way. However, this did not stop the skilled lumberjacks from providing the island with high quality wood. The lumberjacks thrived on the market, and brought home wealth to their kingdom. The men were respected by other races, as long as they minded their own business. Without the men, however, the economy would perish, for they bought many different goods from whoever could supply them.
To the North, the Elves abided in the Grand Tree of Knowledge. These creatures were the most intelligent in all the lands, and were not afraid to use it to their advantage. They lived off the land, and knew their way around the forest better than anyone else. They could smell a tresspasser a mile away, and moved silently wherever they went. Often times, kings would visit the Elven city of Selance for wisdom, but nobody else dared go near this unique race. They spoke the language of Sindarin, which made people view them like creatures rather than a race. I myself took to visiting the elves in my spare time, and taught them English so they could communicate with the rest of us.
Ah, the Halflings. What a joyous bunch of little men they are. They subsided in the city of Underlake, where they built their burrows and farms in peace and harmony. They never left their little town, and in the early ages, nobody visited them, so they set up a small market. This market grew over time, and has now become the main place of trade for the entire island. Some Halflings love this, and some of them despise the constant coming and going of strangers. Either way, they profit from it greatly. If ever you need a place to stay or some food, Underlake is the place to go. They will take you in kindly, and supply you with all that you need.
To the East, the Dwarves built their great mines, and spent their days under many layers of the island. Their city, called Poitle, was a grand cavern, thousands of steps below the ground. It was supported with large, stone pillars, built all by the dwarves themselves. They mastered the skill of mining and smithing, and created some of the greatest armor and weapons of all time. They ruled the island's market for tools, and requested high prices for some of the simplest things. They thrived to own more gold than anyone had ever before aquired.
We have merely scratched the surface of what there is to see here. What else will you find on the island of Avalon?

Nice job HobbinRood, it's a pretty neat thing you got there. The builds are pretty decent, but the detail in the environment is what really makes it something great. It's hard to find people out there who can make nice terrain and you certainly hit it. Hopefully we see some of your media work and others, more on LOTC. Keep up the good work.
