The-Black-Hole-Revelation-Explained-Reve

After years of planning, his plans had finally come to fruition. It seemed an eon since had had first begun this journey. But now, Ikuras would be freed, and his wife would be returned to him. He held the key aloft, ignorant to the sounds of battle from the outcropping adjacent to his floating platform, suspended over the void. Kknotos held the key out to Dhaun'che, and she took it.

"Do it." he said. "Scream it to the heavens."

Dhaun looked at it for a moment, as the mere two clerics that had come to her aid were set upon by Wraith, Shade, and their minions. Kknotos watched her as she looked over the edge, and prepared to jump if she threw it, but she merely wept as she screamed.

"Ikuras, I release you!"

Dhaun began to float up in the air, blue life force streaming from her mouth as she went unconscious. The azure energy streamed into the key, which began to crack. Kknotos felt a sense of euphoria and pure joy as he sensed his master drawing near. With a final whisper, the last glowing orb of life was sucked from Dhaun, and her body dropped to the stone of the altar. Kknotos watched, confused, as the key then dropped to the altar.

"What? Why did nothing happen?" uttered Kknotos. Skale made eye contact with him, also confused. Kknotos bent to pick up the key.

As he touched it, the glass shattered, and an explosion ripped outwards. A cloud of blackness- but not a cloud, rather the absence of space itself, ripped free from the key. The force blew everyone off their feet on the adjacent platform, tossing people like rag dolls. Kknotos felt his body consumed, inch by inch, and screamed in agony as he dissolved.

~~~
Ikuras was freed. Throughout the land of Athera, Clerics, Druids, and Shamans feel a flinch of pain in their very souls. A deep, rumbling explosion is carried on the wind from the West, followed shortly by words deep and ancient as the time before the world.
"I AWAKEN."
Ikuras was freed.
And so concludes two years of planning with this event. But stay tuned, more Ikuras events follow! A special thanks to Jade for permakilling her character and being a good sport about everything! Seriously, kudos to you. Also a big thanks to the Dread Knights (though you missed the event ;-;) You've been our staunchest allies in our crusade against the light. And I won't forget you, Clerics. You guys are the ones we're doing this for the most. You need the fun, there's just not enough evil to purge. And finally, thank you to the Necromancers! I'm glad you were able to all get on and be active today for my event.
Adieu!
Ramza would feel such a feeling and look around focusing outside his window as he closes his book. "Must...be...the wind.." he sighs.
             Zogrocka murmurs at Knox's tea-party table, looking around the empty cavern. His eyes blank, his expression absent. The most hell-bent, evil spirit that roamed his ancestor's is now freed. The dark shaman gives a simple, smug look. Ikuras will now drive the spirits into slavery, peace will be absent to them he hopes.
            Kraal sits in a gloomy cave, the Lich standing in a solemn spot for two years, looking at the water stream below his feet. The Lich feels a presence. He looks up, his neck cracking a she does so. "Ikuras is freed," says a whisper, he turns, his eyes glowing bright in the cave. He slowly chuckles, his demonic laugh echoing through the dark hallways of his cave.
Dhaun felt no pain as her life was taken, only fear. Her thoughts lingering on her friends as they were slaughtered and her family. Her desire to save her family and her failed attempt to stop this. Tears streamed from her cheeks as her body fell to the ground, life no longer in her small child-like form. A final though burst through before the last bit of consciousness slipped away.
Zar'roc'Yar gathers around with his fellow Orc brothers and sisters as they witness Thurak continue the ritual. Once the end of the ritual, Malog'Yar, Thurak'Yar, Eath'lur, and Brunhyldir (The Orcish Shamans that were present) all wince in hefty pain, as most of them lean up against an object, screeching in sheer agony...
Zar'roc'Yar watches, as a bead of sweat falls from his forehead, and his glance swiftly switches from all the Shaman. Soon after, the Shaman spoke of some being... some being that was freed... The only thing the Orcs can do is wait... wait until the Shaman fully comprehend, to the full length, what is going on through speaking with the spirits...
Lethalin, remembering how he was meant to guard said key, makes a loud grumble as he hears the voice shout out in the wilderness
"I tell Lethanal, no keep key like zat. I tell him, I tell him not put it in place so easy to get. Why he do this? So stuepid." After a while, he shrugs, and begins to float off, smoking an ivory pipe on and off as he begins to leave the forest.
Buubztik frowns as he views the events from the Spirit Realm, then felt a pang of distress as the shock waves of Ikuras' return buffeted every spirit, from the great twins of Time and Space to the lowliest of ancestrals.
"Skah'z zayk, mi flat klompin uhgaynzt Ikuraz kultiztz agh dey wun ehniwai. Hozh skah'n jub murtulz.
Agh mi skah'n blah'd Zhaydztik dat dat burzi wuz nub hozh. Dumskah."
Naeri's eye widen as the Greater Spirit of fear is released from the void. Snarling to herself within her home as the echos of Ikuras rip into her head, in a fury she takes a blade to the current work she was doing, eyes widened as she growls. "I thought we had more time, but peace only lasts for so long." she mutters to herself as she sheathes her blade. The bronze shield meant for Elorna and Phaedrus now in half as she prepared for war.
For it was coming.
Glumpuz watches as the all of the shamans gathered in the cave scream in pain shortly after the ritual. He doesn't know what's happening, but he does know that it probably isn't good.
Will, whilst walking on the roads, notices a single druid shaking, a shocked expression on the druid's face. He shrugs. "Meh, he's probably just high on drugs, or something."
   Arelin, listening between Meta and Asher as they speak of the incident. She reflects on it all. Shaking her head as she leaves the academy alongside Ayche, and her brother Asher. Taking a short detour from the two to take a short stroll to her small, but still hidden storage. Rummaging around until she finds her gifted staff, from her master Kuro. Strapping it to her back, "Thought I wouldn't be using you in a while." She mutters to it, as if it were human. Now ready to halfly-protect herself. She murmurs a fiew prayers to herself. Strolling back to the new Riverside town.
Thurak, only moments after completing his short journey to the spirit realm, let out a loud yelp- stumbling against the cave wall just as Malog, Eath, and Brunhyldir do; the other Orcs present murmuring and frowning in confusion. He held his place for a long, shaky moment- the words echoing through his body and clouding his thoughts. The shock rattled him more than the rest in his fatigued condition after the ritual, and he found himself battling for consciousness. After a while his breathing slowed, and his wits kicked in as he discovered that all the others were staring at him questioningly. He only shook his head- ever so slowly and tiredly.
"Zau kohz."
Bad times, indeed. The Shamans would discuss this at length, but they all knew what they heard. Something old had returned; something ancient and something dark and something bad. The spirids guide them.
Naruntah sits in restful study back within the confines of Embermoor Spire, trying to forget about the ritual going on.  "Fools.  Vinzakra will destroy himself, and everything else with him."
