Yes, I was banned quite recently. There was no ban report, however, I have an appeal that explains the situation and had my banned shortened by about a month and two weeks.

Elder Scrolls: Morrowind - Skyrim, Fallout 3, Fallout NV, World of Warcraft, Star Wars: The Old Republic, Dragon Age: Origins, Arma 2, Borderlands 1 (As well as 2), DayZ, Farcry 3, Terraria, The Witcher 2, Saints Row 2, a few Final Fantasies, Starbound, Various Zelda games, etc. (The list goes on)

 

What are your characters? Are you willing to sacrifice any to become a Event member

A character that I have is Asher. He's a hard-headed mage with a ridiculously even temper. I would be willing to sacrifice him without much (if any) problem.

 

What race / group do you think your events would best cater to? If none in particular, give an example of the type of group that your events would entertain.

I don't believe there's a race that my events would cater toward, however I do feel as if I'd do events best if they were for travelers or small hot spots; perhaps I would even enjoy creating spontaneous events.

 

What do you believe are key factors for a successful event?

Personally, I believe that one of the biggest, most important factors in creating an event is roleplay, but I also feel like there are a few layers to to the idea of creating roleplay with events. There's the surface level idea, one where you create immediate roleplay with your events, while there is the second level, the one where you create lasting roleplay for that player. This could be done by doing something that would affect their roleplay in the future, giving them further ways/more room to develop their character. 

 Another key factor to a successful event would be content, content in the way that it's something 'new' or 'fresh', however hard that may sound. Though new content is at times difficult to come up with, if you ever manage to come up with some, it could enhance the experience for players even further.

 

When was the last time you saw a event?

The last event that I saw and was apart of, was an event in which Zarsies character turned me and two other players into essentially Undead sorts of war machine's with different abilities. We were tasked with creating havoc until we were killed, causing the curse to ware off.

 

What strengths could you contribute to the Event Team? Are you knowledgeable in lore or great at organizing?

A few strengths that I posses that could contribute to the event team would be things like knowledge on lore, story telling, organization and new ideas. I'm usually capable of bringing forth all of these skills when it comes down to it.

 

Why do you want to be ET?

I want to become part of the event team because I want to help solve some of the players complaints and help the player base continue to have enjoyable RP. I feel like if I tried, I could succeed in doing so.

 

Create three distinct RP scenarios/events based on LOTC lore that you would organize. These are pitches to the Managers and Ouity, not to the community. Note: Not all of the group must be handled at once. Eg: 20+ people via 5 person increments in a dungeon.

 

 

(1-3 People!)

Three adventurers, all of them prepared for an adventure that they believe will have them leaving with loot beyond their imagination. However this isn't the case, which they soon learn after entering their target cave. A basilisk slithers about, three eggs carefully placed within the corner of the dark den; but where's its mate..?

 

This event would have a number of different options on how to begin! What was in mind, however was a group of three people seeking out a journey are having a conversation with one another, a conversation in which a man interrupts. The man tells the small group of a cave that supposedly has riches beyond their wildest dreams, which would possibly lead the adventures to seek out this cave. But once they arrive, they see that there is no loot, but instead three eggs and a couple of basilisk, one male and one female, however the female is nowhere in sight. This could be RP'ed however the ET member sees it should be, but the players have multiple options, perhaps even attempting to retrieve the eggs for themselves.

(5-10 People!)

A small man slowly enters a tavern, waddling along to the bar. He takes a seat, visibly shaking as he does so. He's silent for a long while, until suddenly, he jumps to his feet on the chair, yelling and blabbering mostly incoherent sentences. Despite the incoherent sentences, it does appear he's trying to get out some actual information, words like 'fish', 'giant' and 'follow' being heard quite clearly. Maybe he's trying to get everyone to follow him to a giant fish's location!

 

The halfling (small man) would try his absolute hardest to get the people of the tavern to try and follow him to a location, supposedly a location where a giant fish lurks around in the water. The players can choose to follow, or they can choose to stay put and ignore the halfling's words. Either way, there would not be a giant fish, but there would be a giant, hostile squid. From there, it's the players' decisions to decide how to handle the situation.

 

 

 

(20+ People!)

A masquerade is held for all people throughout Athera, promising wishes to come true, fun to be had and of course, stomachs to be filled with the most delicious of pastries. The only problem is, there seems to be some kind of joker among the crowd! A choir of groans and 'ow!'s ringing around the large room from time to time, even people shouting things like, "This isn't a pastry, this is a rock!" and "Uhm.. This doesn't taste like any type of wine that I've had!"

 

The guests are able to treat the situation as they please, perhaps trying to find out who's causing all of these problems or even just leaving out of frustration. But, there are some who swear they've seen the person who's done it, others who even accuse friends and turn on one another.. Perhaps this is more than just a 'joker' that they're dealing with.

 

 

 

How long do you plan to stay in the ET?

I plan on and hope to be on the event team for as long as they'll keep me in, until my ideas have run dry and I can no longer help the community. (which will hopefully not happen or take a looong time.)
