Mali'aheral of Haelun'or,

For the glory of the maehr'sae hiylun'ehya, the abnormality that is Phaedrus has been questioned to determine the root of his desirable behaviour. Attached are the responses from the series of questions he was asked. Make of them what you will, further analysis will be posted in time.

  • Apples are his favorite food.
  • Colour preference: Red, also partial to green.
  • Thinks emotion is “good”.
  • Believes Malinor was a nation of Thieves.
  • Is unaware of the existence of Titania Hawksong.
  • Has no opinion on the number 47.
  • When asked to pick a letter between B and M he chose B. Deliberately ignored the instruction or was simply not intelligent enough to understand the word B. Upon being asked a second time, he chose C. This was because it was next in the alphabet.
  • He finds the Okarir’ker to be a valuable ally and a good person.
  • When asked if he would like the skin of a mali’ker he responded that he is content with his skin colour.
  • He finds the maehr’sae hiylun’ehya admirable. Though he feels sometimes it is not adhered to properly.
  • Phaedrus believes a more functional military is desirable.
  • He knows his name, when asked for it.
  • He claims to be literate.
  • He has no opinion on the letter Q.
  • He believes Durion’s spat with Haelun’or is over the Sohaer’s disapproval with his choice of clothing— Aside: Perhaps I called his wife a **** for showing her mid section?
  • He logically identifies an orange banana as potentially diseased.
  • The subject can count.
  • Subject identifies fingers when held up and can count to at least 5.
  • Subject recognises that eight fingers on one hand is abnormal. This signifies he is not inbred.

Further investigation is unnecessary.

Phaedrus can be found in his home afterwards, fingers pinched tightly around the bridge of his nose, sitting at the table in silence while gently shaking his head.

Zress reads over the note and begins laughing softly. "Has no opinion of the letter Q. It is no wonder Kalenz is puzzled as the Continuum shivers."

Azel stares silently at the form, heads tilted to the side as if in question. After several moments, he simply crosses his arms and moves away.

Pebble reads the letter, having had to pry it from the maw of a dog moments earlier out of unbearable curiosity. She spends a good half hour trying different arrangements of the pieces that tore off, before deciding it makes just as much sense as she had originally though.

Pebble finally decides firmly against moving in with people who like poking things they consider strange. She resumes tinkering and hiding underground from nature. In the druids' grove. Are any elves sane anymore, really...?

Meta hearing this debate over the letter's of B and Q finds himself lost in utter thought. "For one who has spent many years of meditation and pondering the meaning of life. Even I do not have a feeling upon letters themselves, perhaps this is a sign of true dedication to one's society and upbringing..."

"Or simply perhaps the beginning of the end of sanity."
