Life was bustling though the city, jumbled words and shouts rang out. Those present were donned in anything from armor to rags.... but the City was already broken. Forgotten streets clamored with new life but they were not interested in buying goods - only seeing where now lost peoples once stood.

Rivel had opened with a crash, a mighty flash of light had torn the heavens asunder for the briefest of moments and had left a jagged line in the night sky. And with this... the sound of footsteps, an echoing thunder, began. Already prepared for their quest to the West the Mortal races clamored to discover what might await them in the forgotten spires.

When they arrived they found a broken and desolate society, indications of a long lost peoples. Old shops looked almost new, adorned with all manner of commodities, and the floating city gave off an aura of wonder and Fantasy.

But... as the mortals braved each step over the tremulous abyss below they grew closer and closer to the heart of it all - A massive fortification that presided as the daunting center of this sprawling city. Within... secrets still lie.

What will you discover? What lies just over the horizon?

Meanwhile a group of brave halflings have gone down the rabbit hole, exploring an ancient ruin of their Pumpkin Lord's followers... perhaps this "Holy" Keep is of something much greater?

Taliyu'thilln continues to curse and mock passerby in Aesterwald's main square, absolutely livid that he is unable to explore the ruins.

Deep in the caves of Chica'go, a toaster roars in discontent as one human tries getting it to run Minecraft. For every bit of server lag, it drops twice the frames it needs to, in brash defiance of its oppressive master.

"Parkour?" The toaster roars, "Not on my timer!"

The spoiler contains my review of the whole event.

The trek up was overly difficult. Lost about half the people that went up. I was watching people jump and fall on overly complex parts, i mainly partook for MT reasons, but even I found it ridiculous. If you fail, you had to trek ALL the way back to the portal to go up. Then retry all the parkor. Not trying to spoil the fun, but not everyone enjoys working their butts off for little profit. For all those who made it up, congrats, you will all be featured in a screenshot. If you are going to make a hard event like this, dont expect a lot of shining reviews. Nice once you managed to get past the 30 minute trek across lava, void parkour, and water parkour. Too much work for little reward.

So what WAS the reward, beside a cameo in a screenshot?

one person got some sort of ender eye. That was it. He ran off without rp so couldnt even figure out the "special stuff in the box"  >.>
