The Grand King isn't the supreme power, we live in a democracy. How am I as grand marshal supposed to restore the legion if my decisions are undermined?

Tuh beh ah efficient leader ye should work wit t'e king not making spontaneous military actions t'at t'e king would loike wise say no tuh.

I 'ave tu disagree. T'e last toime 'n Ire'eart was Grand Marshal t'at did t'is was Kjell n 'e tried to start a rebellion tu undermine 'iebes rule 'n Asulon. 'e 'ad dun not'in wrong 'n was a gud King. I am nay sayin t'at I dun trust ya, but t'e king need power over t'e marshal to stop rebellion. I respect ye fir wanting tu make sure t'ere was peace between our clans 'n ope ye 'ave a prosperous ruling 'as leader ov t'e legion, but t'e king needs tu 'ave da power to 'elp stop rebellion wit' in da kingdom itself.

"The people have spoken, I retract my proposal, they're opinions out shadow mine."

Looks to Fimlin.

"I know it's an elective monarchy, that doesn't mean you're a supreme power"

Fimlin notes that the dwarves know about the letter, because it is the Thanes job to present it to their clans and get their opinion before voting.
