During mid-day the Winchesters arrive at the Invictus town. One of the soldiers guarding the town is taken hostage bringing the Invictus into an unrelenting fury. The forces of Invictus gather and march upon the Winchester estate, taking one of their Greyhame supporters hostage. After many hours the two sides come to a hostage exchange and the soldier is let loose. With their soldier saved the Invictus returns to their fort leaving the Winchester estate in a frenzy caused by both the assault and the recent slaughter of their forces an elven day ago. However the Invictus soldier was tortured, burned, and interrogated leaving him in a half-broken state.

Days later the Invictus hears the sound of marching formations. Looking from the walls they see the armies of Winchester and Galahar marching on the Invictus fortress. After just a small negotiation with Invictus, they learn that the Winchesters had become vassals of Galahar on that very day which was why Galahar's army was at their gates so suddenly. The Invictus men are ill prepared and more than half of their available troops are out on contracts but they do their best to take up arms and defend the fortress. Both sides suffer heavy casualties as Invictus traps and spears take out tens of men but the assaulting army's shear force, four times larger than Invictus's ill prepared defense, quickly takes the outlining walls slaughtering the remaining Invictus guarding it and forcing the Invictus back into the Keep. The armies of Galahar and Winchester blow their horns in triumph and fall back, unable to move further without siege equipment leaving the Invictus's fort in a battered defeated state.

As the Invictus soldiers out on contracts return to the fort, they see the ruined gates and injured soldiers crying out in pain. The mercenaries unable to tend to wounds are across the wall and bridge on lookout. The soldiers returning from contracts lust for what is coming. And those who survived the onslaught want revenge.

OOC:

Raid Rules!

There are no restrictions on the number of men one side can have in a raid.

Allies are allowed in raids and/or defence.

A raid can only be held if your side has already been raided. For example if Invictus raids Winchester/Galahar, then Galahar/Winchester is free to counter-attack whenever they wish in a raid and the cycle goes on in which Invictus can then counter-raid Galahar/Winchester whenever. So it could be days or even weeks before one side decides to counter-raid and continue the cycle.

As normal no cheating, hacking, block glitching, ect...

Have Fun!

"Ave Invictus! Death to the dishonorable rebels!" Shouts Darius, seemingly quite pissed at the situation considering the Winchesters only attack when the majority of Invictus are sleeping.

Crona Lunas also known as Adio or Ren by the Winchesters, makes his preparations around the fortress. "The scum d-d-doesn't stand against! Ca-Crona! They will fall to the hand of Master and I! Prepare yourself scum..." A wicked smile cracks underneath the grey bandage tied around his mouth. His plans were ready to be put in motion, but who knew? Cackling is heard from his chamber... Trailing off as he goes about his day.

Joseph Harper steps out into the main hall of Kythira. Invictus troops sitting at the tables, feasting, drinking and chatting amongst themselves. Joseph takes up his shield and thrusts his dory into the air, shouting in his native tongue "All hail Invictus!". The soldiers look up from their conversations and cheer "Hail Invictus! Hail Invictus!" The Invictus stand and continue to cheer as their Lieutenant which was scarred by the torture stands before them.

Oskar von Aesterwald, an aged Waldenian man, would hear of these battles,

"Perhaps these Invictus fellows would need anotheh sword arm, eh?"

Oskar would then get off his lazy arse, going off to find the Invictus folk.

Arik Vanir fondly recalls the slaughtering of the Invictus men, cowering behind their walls, as he turns to his nephew.

"Ey, Harald, how bad must being to sleep through or miss entire battle, like most of them?"

Count Gregory calls over the Winchester Bannermen

"We brought vengeance and justice for the unlawful slaughtering of my Brother, Great Ser George Winchester, and my Son Ser Edmund Winchester. Glory to us! For the Allied powers are the dominant faction! Kill all of these bloodthirsty, cold blooded killers!

We had an equal number of men attacking, and not one of us died. Silly so called mercinaries, this is not chld's play.

Glory! Honour! Victory!

Veni, Vidi, Vici."

Holds up his Goblet to his Thousands of Bannermen, as they jolt as part of the victorious army.

*As the Winchesters are gathered, Ulfric raises his golden goblet with wine*

"Just like other savages, Invictus will fall!

*All men cheer as Ulfric speaks*

Augustus smirks and gives out a slight chuckle as he hears of the conflict and the Winchesters, though he is slightly troubled by the fact that they have managed to gather thousands of bannermen somehow.
