The Elven Bard Sings.

The Mali'ame is quick to enter the tavern; the night breeze hits her clothe back but it was enough to send a shiver down her spine. The night was cold, so she sits herself on the corner, out of everyone's sight but enough for her to take notice of people leaving and entering the tavern. After asking for a glass of water from the waitress that comes up to her, a close friend of hers, she reminds her of her purpose and upon given the approval, Lindrianna sends her off with a smile.

Singing in public was never a problem for the wood elf. When hunting wasn't enough to provide for herself, she'd always find that singing in a tavern full of drunken people were enough to add up for extra minas.  Lindrianna walks up to the makeshift stage in the center of the tavern, pulls down the hood that covers her long brown locks and prominent elf ears, and begins to sing.

Of all the minas that e'er I had
I've spent it in good company
And all the harm that e'er I've done
Alas it was to none but me
And all I've done for want of wit
To memory now I can't recall
So fill to me the parting glass
Good night and joy be with you all

Of all the comrades that e'er I had
They are sorry for my going away
And all the sweethearts that e'er I had
They would wish me one more day to stay
But since it falls unto my lot
That I should rise and you should not
I'll gently rise and I'll softly call
Good night and joy be with you all

A man may drink and not be drunk
A man may fight and not be slain
A man may court a pretty girl
And perhaps be welcomed back again
But since it has so ought to be
By a time to rise and a time to fall
Come fill to me the parting glass
Good night and joy be with you all
Good night and joy be with you all

Kaas' long, High Elven ears begin to droop at the sweet sounding music. He always has been a sucker for singing. His usually bored look becomes lit with a newfound expression of relaxation. The hooded Mali'Aheral quietly walks over to the singer, flipping two minas towards her. With that, he scampers away from the tavern, not wanting it to be known he was charitable.

((So much +1))

Sigman, the Jester Bard sits down with his hand on his knees and head down. His ghetto lute all broken, two strings snapped lie on his back, busted. He knows when he was been outmatched. Tears fall from the eye holes in his smiley mask.

"I-I can' sing that good!"

Thankfully, Artimec will never be able to kick him out of his city.

Hilbrec closes his eyes and focuses on each word. A tear runs down Hilbrec's face. A slight grin begins to grow on his face. He abruptly opens his eyes and slips a ragged piece of parchment from his gambeson, trying not to make too much noise. He again digs around his shallow pockets for some fine charcoal. He pulls out a small measly piece and begins to write:

"Words cannot describe the beauty of thy song,
O what a joy to hold them in my heart the day long.
Tis as sweet of honey and as graceful as a doe,
Beautiful like a field lily and I hope ye know.
To be in the presence of such a one as thee,
By the Divines' blessing, who canst thou be?

- Hilbrec of the Performer's Coun- The Red Bard"

Hilbrec rereads it focusing on every word. He folds the parchment, looking back at the elf and takes a deep breath. Hilbrec rises to his feet and places the parchment with the few coins he has before her. He nods slightly and heads for the door.

Aethos smiles warmly, the heat of the fire behind him emanating towards him, the crackles and sparks completely setting the mood.
