Realistically, here is what could happen, starting with current events.

[1] Oren wins the dwarf-Oren war, and conquers the dwarves.

[2] Dwarves attempt to start a rebellion a few weeks after becoming subject to Orenian rule.

[3] Dwarf rebellion is defeated with an iron fist. With reasoning humanity is the superior race, and to make 'worldwide peace', humans dominate the nearby Elves, Khas, and Halflings.

[4] The orcs put up a considerable fight but are soon pushed under by the weight of a worldwide empire.

[5] Each race creates a sort of guild for themselves, and multi-racial tensions break out.

[6] Civil war begins after numerous political fights, and Oren is shattered. Races gain freedom and take revenge on Oren. Humanity is blasted into tiny independent fragments, and racial nations begin, with little tension.

[7] Self appointed human kingdoms appear.

[8] Orenian descendants gather into one faction and defeats all other humans.

[9] Oren reforms.

[10] Repeat.

Oren's wish for world conquest and subsequent civil war/political collapse is the kind of rinse and repeat thing that has been happening since Aegis.

It's looking like Oren could take over the world.  They're the most popular kingdom, they have a large chunk of land in the south, they're currently pushing into the north.  How are Oren's relations with the elves? The dwarves? Could they, will they take over those lands?  What will happen?

My predictions are:

-Olivier de Savoie will succeed Andrik Vydra. He may halt the conquest in favor of diplomacy with the dwarves, which would frustrate the playerbase and create internal tensions, or he, more likely, will finish the Vydrian Campaign at the edge of the mid-Atherian river south of Hiebenhall.

-Dwarves and rebels will be pushed out of the north, then conquest will cease.

-Either the new crown will establish high culture and convert military activity into productivity and civillian RP and take the most militant factions and give them a minor conquest to distract, like the elves, or suppressed military tensions will fester and result in a split between the two major human racial groups.

It's also important to handle the three duchies and ensure none feel oppressed or w/e, but that's mostly a matter of maintaining equal privy representation and not using cultural propaganda in the place of broad national propaganda, as well as the King/Justicar mediating intranational conflicts and focusing tensions outwards.

-If Oren stabilizes, which it has yet to really do for almost a year, it'll just be a matter of keeping privy administration active and well-directed and conflicts mediated as stated above, if Oren doesn't stabilize, it'll refragment along ducal lines, then foreign nations will try and attack, and the duchies will band back together in an informal league before reforming in 2-3 months when a king asserts claim. Dwarves will never reconquer Oren unless human racial pride falls by the wayside.

I'd hope for more promotion of non-combat roleplay and religious roleplay while retaining combat aspects but that pretty difficult to pull off and requires a very active leadership.

Humans have never conquered the world and never will. It would be an administrative nightmare not to mention the work involved. The human leaders throughout history of LOTC have at most only ever conquered the elves but even that was more trouble than its worth. There's no point of trying to conquer the other races racial lands because the humans as large as they are won't be able to populate those lands with their own basically requiring the other races to administrate themselves under occupation.....its just not viable.

 

Though my firm belief is that the humans right now as some of them like to do the whole "Great Meme" and seem trolly, they don't really want to make people suffer at least I hope my feelings about that are true. Though seriously humans please stop with the "Memeing, Fourth Wall Breaking, Bringing Modern Day Political Satire into this Server etc...." your all better than that, become a proud race again.

Work on making themselves a proud and professional race that takes roleplay seriously outside of forum official documents. The humans I encounter tend to behave and speak like this is a PvP server with an embellished chat system someone forgot to turn off.

 

Don't say I'm lying, this stigma has existed for literal years now, and it's severely holding back the race in terms of accomplishing higher goals that aren't making people rip in pepperoni for top keks.

I agree with all of your points but would also argue that politically this is the most stable oren I have seen since Knox unlike other rulers where there was major instability. All 3 duchies seem to work and function fine under regency there is a major war but other stable kingdoms were in the same degree of war.

Dwarves started doing it to when this war started, it's terrible. The amount of fourth wall breaking RP is awful.

I feel Oren's doing really well tbh. Even without a single king we're all working together well under a regency and helping each other out.
