bungo 3965 Share Posted March 10, 2015 I love how everyone sees Humans as a pure PvP driven monster while their roleplay is better than any other nation's. They only focus on the small minority that can be found within most large races. I have played a Dwarf and in the past, the majority of their roleplay in terms of politics was done via ooc methods. The same stands to this day apparently. I have been an Elf during the glory days and now, I can't imagine how boring it would be to be an elf. They have roleplay yes, but it is completely different to human roleplay. Stevie described the roleplay as "enhanced tavern roleplay" and that is all I see. It's not fun for me and I understand that it's fun for others. Human roleplay is usually more centered around combat as you can notice with the Guard Forces/Military Orders. I played an Orc when there was roleplay and it mimiced the Human way of roleplay. A highly militaristic society. However there was never roleplay as an orc, it was mostly teamspeak and events. Talking to each other as orcs was a real shoah and rarely happened. As a Human, there is an abundance of players as seen at the warclaims. There are those who do not fight. There are those who only fight. Humans look bad because of a select few who are alike to Grool's uncle. There is more roleplay within the Humans because of the large amount of people. They have different tastes than what you may see as an elf or a dwarf or an orc but the majority of people do roleplay. Its annoying when people try to impress their friends with cute jokes which they overuse like Kais Ishikawa said. Though the same can be said of the Dwarves and Orcs. Elves are the exception mostly. What they will do is end the war as the victors when they claim the North. Will (TauFirewarrior) 2466 Share Posted March 10, 2015 Dwarves started doing it to when this war started, it's terrible. The amount of fourth wall breaking RP is awful. I'm working with my colleagues on the team to encourage players to cease the meme mentality as we call it. Hopefully the players breaking the fourth wall, bringing modern day political or otherwise satire into role play and of course people constantly saying in role play "Great meme" or things of that nature. Most of the opinions on these races are short-sighted and shows the utter dislike for these people. That's why I made a point about Humans thinking they are superior. They are just gonna get the dwarfs out of the north and probably have a long period of peace with economic strength and a strong lower class. I don't like how they aim to make their kingdom this imperialistic thing pushing cultural values that aren't really that well liked by some other groups. I stated that Human RP is different from Elven RP. I played every race except some cute ones like mori-kharajyrian furry spider creature. I stated that I liked Human RP more.
