Don't be alarmed, a majority of 'Hackers' for cracking MC passwords are amateurs and have very little/shitty software (If any) for password cracking. Bruteforce methods are only so effective. Unless your password is really stupid you'll be safe, plus migrating your account is a safe lock.

Do also take not that you're /always/ at risk of having your password cracked, and most likely by someone on the server rather than some low-life on a hacking forum who has your name and nothing else.

If your account is migrated, they're not going to end up cracking it unless they have your email.

If your account isn't migrated, you're still safe unless your password is relatively simple.

Literally no reason to panic, you are all probably safe, I wouldn't go changing all of your passwords.

I guarantee you if you've played Minecraft outside of LoTC you've probably been on a list like this before, either private or public.

Minecraft.net will stop you logging in from a new location using a security question. The answer is sent to you by Email if you can't remember. It's not possible to change your MC password without getting into your Email. If they try logging into your Email it will detect a new location and send a code to your phone so they need that too.

Realisticly speaking it seems that you have to register to see said list, which itself is rather stupid to do onto a site for hackers and such. I would say if you are interested in seeing the list simply ask someone who already did or someone please just post all the names here. /if/ however you decide to go check by yourself do so with a new e-mail/gmail and a username/password you have never used or is not even close to any of the ones you already have.

My secure password is 6thousand years, my history teacher forced us to use it for our online class. The requirement was it had to be at least 5thousand years or you couldn't use it

I changed my password either way. By the way, I checked the website and no hidden downloads or virus's were found to catch onto your computer, just in case any one was worried as most people will plant a keylogger on your computer to get your password through websites. There easy to delete using your computers safemode function if your quick enough and know the process. Regardless there seems to be none on the list/website itself, though if you would like to be sure go ahead and check it yourself using a URL checker.

Just make your password longer, every letter past six letters adds two years (on a tangent) to the average amount of time taken to Brute it. Coming from someone who has used a bruteforce, any password past ten characters is virtually impossible to crack. Variety of caps/lowcaps or numbers/symbols, does nothing, its the length.

Literally no reason to change your password if it is relatively strong (letters and numbers, not something like march6 or artemisfowl)

If you're migrated, there's DEFINITELY no reason to change your password. People will skip over your account in the list if it's migrated anyway, and if they try to crack it it won't work.

No, random letters and ciphers form the worst passwords. Computers can easily crack them. A better password would be: CHAIRTOILETCHAIRCHAIR
