As the workers made their way into the long hall, Varuk Frostbeard took to the podium, placing his hands on the fencing. Scanning the area around him, he saw many faces with many expressions. He saw the faces of the young Dwed, the old and middle aged. He saw expressions of excitement, of exasperation, of anger and of fear. But he knew that they were all ready. Ready for change.

 

"Too long have we, the masses, been ignored! Too long has the average miner toiled day and night, only to be paid a pathetic amount. An amount that can not even be used to pay the Kingdom's tax!"

 

The crowd roared in approval as shouts of ,

 

"DOWN WITH DAGOR!"

 

 rung throughout the hall! Varuk slowly calmed the crowd as he continued his speech.

 

"Today, is a historic day. On this day, the First of the Grand Harvest 1510, the Worker's Party of Red Uguan has been formed. We will strive to protect the rights of the workers, to allow them a pay that is enough to bring home food, pay the taxes and have some left! The party is open to all workers of Urguan!"

 

With a nod, Varuk stepped aside as he let workers step up onto the podium and give their stories of the horrendous abuse they faced. It was a general consensus among the workers who shared their story that the problems were all stemming from the top!

 

As the workers finished their stories, Varuk stepped back up on the podium, retaking his place. After a few moments of silence he abruptly thrust a clenched fist into the air and yelled,

 

"AVE RED URGUANIA!"
