FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 15th of The Grand Harvest, 1517

Regarding the recent bounty, hunt, and deaths around the creature formerly known as 'The Devourer'.

Several days ago, dozens of men and women sailed to their watery graves in an ill-fated hunt to kill 'The Devourer'. Most notable among these was the death of Balek Irongut, whose bravery will never be forgotten.

Several of the survivors of this attack, many of them Eastin Dia employees, were intercepted on another hunt of 13th, The Grand Harvest, 1517. The attackers, who did not appear to be harmed through either magical or physical means, responded to the communication attempts of an Eastin Dia employee by the name of Glacio Nereus.

Further negotiation and communications attempts revealed the Devourer's true name - "The Many-Armed One", and the crew was allowed to leave peacefully.

Due to recent events, Eastin Dia recommends highly against any guild, corporation, or individual attempting to A) Enter the waters of the Dreadsail, or B) Attempt to attack or claim any bounty placed on The Many-Armed One.

While the desire to avenge Balek Irongut's death may be strong within certain individuals, the Eastin Dia Trading Company highly encourages that no more throw their lives away in another foolhardy hunt.

Some things truly aren't meant to be hunted.

APPROVED FOR PUBLIC RELEASE

Signed,

Ayche Raven'kor

Captain
