Building of Halls and Graves

An archaeologist works hard, digging day in and day out at the many ruins around the Cloud Temple. Finally, he has found something. The ruin hold ancient statues of heroes. The same heroes, plus new ones, that we’ve seen in other lands before. Names carved along the wall and even what looks like potentially a few large statues of the most prominent. The man is excited at his new finding and runs off to the Temple to find someone to show.

In his haste, the archaeologist stumbles and falls. To his surprise he doesn’t hit a wall, but tumbles down stairs. At the bottom he finds a tomb with altars to the current skygods of Vailor. He mumbles a small prayer and thanks the many gods at what he had found, for he was either the best or luckiest archaeologist in Vailor.

Hail Lord of the Craftians~

The GM team has recently been spending time cleaning up the land to make more spots of interest, as well as finishing up builds! The first of our long list is however down and I’m excited to announce the opening of the GM Crypt, showcasing the current GMs, and the Hall of Heroes, where our many donors can be found.

On top of those two things, our ET have also been hard at work. Sebs has recently finished building the GM Graveyard where all the past GMs rest. It’s one of the best I’ve seen so far, definitely check it out!

If you are a Bedrock or Ender VIP your name is now being shown on a sign in the hall! Don’t worry, if your name is for some reason not there, comment below or shoot me a quick message and we’ll clear it all up. Most likely I just couldn’t find your MC name.

If you are an Aether VIP, there are spaces open for your statue! PM me with the colors/blocks you’d like the statue to be made of and if you’d like to have a mage, warrior, or normal dude. Remember that these statues are representing you as a hero, not as your RP character.

And I suppose this is the time to say thank you to all the donors, not just those that have made it into the hall. You are the reason that this server is open and I hope that we can continue to make it a fun and welcoming place for all who enjoy roleplay.

Stay tuned for the future changes and improvements we will be making!

I still don't understand why we need a GM graveyard. Just something that never made sense to me.

Oh... a post about it, huh.

I think the statues need a better design as well, I don't really like them.

We don't need it, but we don't not need it either, it doesn't hurt to have it.

I'd rather have them building cool shizzle for people to actually do events in, instead of a glorified ego stroker.

Neat-o I might donate to Aether VIP if it wasn't because the server seems so lost atm.

There really is no ego stroking involved, every single one of our former staff truly deserve recognition for having helped shape LotC into the monolith it is today. An in-game reminder of their work is just a cute little nod to their dedication, and on the topic of event areas–that'd be neat but that's on the ET managers to start implementing.

Kronos certainly helped shape LotC. Mostly the terrain. It's a funny building that might as well be there but lets not go too far with the worth of some of the staff. :^ )
