After some discussion among the admin's we have decided to allow a PHD student from the University of Nottingham to use our community to benefit his thesis. You hold no obligation to fill out the following questionnaire however if you do happen to find the time it would be most appreciated by myself and also the student in question! You must be 16 or over to fill out the questionnaire so please avoid doing so otherwise. I thank you in advance for the time you may grant to enable LotC to assist in Jose's thesis... Without further ado, here is a brief paragraph from him. "This questionnaire is part of an academic research project conducted by Jose M. Blazquez, PhD student at the University of Nottingham. The project explores collaborative models of production of fictional content for projects based on shared story worlds. The aim of the research is to analyse the structure of independent and alternative models of production and seek similarities and differences between them and the established entertainment production system used by media conglomerates. You need to be over 16 years old to take part in this research. The information provided will be included in publications and presentations of any kind, including further research focusing on similar and different topics. In this questionnaire, you will be asked several questions about LotC, the project in which you are involved as a player, with the purpose of clarify how this production model works. This questionnaire is anonymous and voluntary and you can withdraw at any time. You can also save your progress and continue answering later (you will have up to 1 week to do that). The questionnaire will be online until the 18th of November at 23:59 UTC.
