Found my idea ! https://www.lordofthecraft.net/forums/topic/126585-idea-multiple-bank-accounts/ This un, Telanir. Surely this is something the development team could pull off?

That does sound quite nice. I will be looking through the suggestion forums for gems like these to see what players have already said too.

I like a lot of this- but the existence of party/guild chats really just doesn't, in my mind, have any positive application for LOTC. People already have skype chats to banter and converse in, and I think that's cancerous fine, but when you actually implement that in-game, it feels like state-sponsored terrorism metagaming. Let's not kid ourselves- no GM is going to moderate the party chat channel. GMs don't even moderate the OOC channel, or the help channel, or the wandering souls channel- let alone a global guilds channel where their chats will presumably be spammed by no less than half a dozen conversations between 5+ people each. God knows most GMs would rather shoot themselves than pour through logs.

I really think that your ideas are awesome, Telanir, but please be careful about toeing the line between MMO and RP. There are plenty of MMO servers for minecraft, but it's hard enough to find one dedicated to RP.

Reworking the entire platform to develop a modular one to benefit any programmer is truly a labor that should be rewarded well! Congratulations development team!

I for one hope for many months of beta testing!

You mentioned that the new framework replaces Spigot? Could you also show us an example of Obelisk? I am intrigued, knowing Java but never bothering with Spigot this could lead to me applying to the Dev team.

WOO! CHEERING!

In all seriousness I definitely like the sound of these new changes. My only question is what's going to happen to our nexus skills? Will we all have to reset?

The new Crafting module, it takes the intuitiveness of Nexus-Craft and pushes it one step further. One exciting feature is the ability for staff to create new items/recipies/workstations on the fly.

Does this mean that there will be no craft time for staff to make things in like say Enchanting, tinkering, or blacksmith crafts?

I am in love with this already...I can't wait for these changes to be put into effect. I'm just unclear on whether or not to expect downtime whilst you're implementing these things...Also: PLEASE add the language thing, that'd be epic. XD

Obelisk does not replace spigot in the slightest. Obelisk has it's own internal Plugin (we call them Modules) loader, much like spigot has, but it in no way shape or form replaces spigot. Obelisk is still a "plug-in"

Not quite what you were thinking about. This means we can easily add new recipes into the game for players to make. Crafting times might have some changes with the new crafting system, but at the moment don't expect huge disappearances of crafting times

This sounds freaking amazing. With the new professions plugin though will we get to keep our current progress on the professions? I don't want to drop all the way back down to promising on Stonemasonry when Aengulic is sooooo close ;-;

We aren't replacing professions. Crafting is currently based off of an internal nexus function, most/all menus you see/use to craft at stations are Nexus at it's work, but hooking into skills. What this means is we'll be giving all the crafting stations and whatnot a shiny clean interface with potential shiny new options. Experience won't change.

Also I have a suggestion: Remove the part of voting where you receive items? That is what I want gone, it's annoying when you waste seven or more keys and just get items. I want minas, not six pieces of stone brick.
