Sam sits in front of his desk, a dying candle sweeping light over a plethora of papers before him. He plucks up the envelope, the seal of the Order painted across it's face. After peeling it open and allowing his gaze to ease over the lengthy message, he settles the letter back down whence it'd come, down amongst the rest of papers. The aging man emits a weary sigh, before clasping a quill within his fingertips, and scrawling a short response.

 

“I, Samuel Beadoin, currently ranked as Adeptus, hereby acknowledge the changes that the Order of Magi are undergoing."

An armored and robed individual traverses into Sanctuary with the aid of an archaic and gnarled staff, finding the missive with no prior consultation or knowledge. The slender Elf would incline his neck in a slight tilt, and as he reads the entirety of the document an impertinent frown would begin to stretch across his regularly impassive countenance. 

 

"It seems I have been ousted," He'd wave a wiry thin gauntlet dismissively, moving to depart from the Sanctuary Guild Hall; The Order of Magi now held in a different contempt for the gaunt Mali'Aheral.
