Blundermore 2741 Share Posted April 2, 2016 Relics of the Wizard So this was accepted a while ago about two maps ago I believe and I think enough time has passed that all of those items are now gone from the world so I'm going to be reintroducing them through RP means in the future but because the original page for them is gone now I thought I would repost the page on the forums for reference sake. Keep a look out for them... The Aegis Shield: A magical shield made from a strange white metal, when struck with Destructive magic, it seems to create a mystical barrier around the wearer, protecting them from harm. The Talisman of Hope: “Even in the most dire of times, there can still be hope”, when all else fails, and the wolves are before the gates, hold the Talisman tightly, and spark hope from the grasp of fear… The Book of Sending: The book, engraved with Gold leaf writing, and bound in an old rustic fashion seems to be entirely empty, however, when Ink is applied to the pages, it mysteriously vanishes… Where however does it go? The Book of Finding: The sister Book to the book of Sending, this worn tome seems as though it has seen a lot of travel in its time, upon opening the book you will find strange writings within it, as though someone else was trying to send a message… The Spyglass of the Trickster: All is not as it should be in the world… for there are lies and deceit all around, spy out the tricksters, and reveal the true nature behind them. Those whom look within the spyglass will see the true nature of that which lies within their sight, revealing illusions and trickery... The Helm of the Everglow: Those whom dorn the white helm of the Everglow radiate a light as clear as day, however where light is made… shadows are casted as well... The Orchid of Purity: A blue Orchid, with seemingly gilded gold leaves and stem, this flower has the power to cleanse the taint within the land… however an Orchid’s beauty does not last forever… and thus each time it is used… a petal shall fall… once the last petal has fallen, the Orchid shall vanish… and a new owner shall be found. The Wandering Staff: Many mythical beings in the past have been bestowed the title of “The Wanderer” or “The Wandering”, however those whom come across this staff will find this walking implement strange to the touch… as though it was partially alive. It seems to wax and wane as good and bad deeds are performed… until finally, on a moonless night, the staff shall mysteriously vanish… and a new master shall be chosen. For what reason, it is unknown… perhaps it seeks the one whom is truly worthy to wield it, and to reveal its true nature to… The Sword of Songs: Not all weapons are for war… a sword with the ability to emit soothing songs when struck with moonlight. 5 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

It would be literally impossible to determine who would've had them by now or if they're still even playing. Also gives me a chance to breath fresh life into this thing. I would think that if any history relating to them that has been lost in RP should stay that way then. I understand that it would breathe fresh life into these, and I do understand these are magical items, but for them to randomly appear after 2 maps of "cataclysmic" events, would seem out of place if no one has claimed them. I would understand the staff and orchid surviving out of all of them, but the rest would most likely be destroyed. Well, the shield I guess would be in one piece, but again, it's 2 maps in the past and we can't really get that. If by some chance the past wielders of these items were to appear and say they had it or passed it on, then yeah, all the power to them, but if no one steps up to claim at least the others, the only knowledgeable ones to bring back would, again, be the flower and staff. Blundermore 2741 Author Share Posted April 2, 2016 I did warn them that if they went inactive or something that the items would eventually pass on to someone else to prevent hoarding. KarmaDelta 969 Share Posted April 2, 2016 Ok, I can understand that. Not gonna lie though, these items do look quite nice if they were brought back. I just assumed that nothing like what you just said was in place. I doubt you'd want to do it all over again, but maybe write some lore about them resurfacing in the world?
