"The only true betrayers of the Mali are those that are willing to spill elf blood over false ideals and petty wars they need not be a part of," says a young Mali.

"A low threat power play thinly disguised as a traditionalist uprising." An imperial reporter remarks. "A bold strategy, Cotton. Let's see how this plays out."

Aelthus Aureon would give a small flick of his ears upon yet again receiving the same unoriginal insult from another Vigil who would think to bully him would get him to abandon his home in Laureh'lin to settle once again in the Aheral city. The young Aheral would give a small sigh, "There is really no difference between us. We all feel the same wave of emotions that cause us to cry ourselves to sleep, we all bleed from an open wound when cut, and in the end we are all children of Malin. The only difference between us Aheral and the Ame is that we happen to be more pale and taller. It is as if our height makes us more superior to our kin. But in reality it just makes our long legs easier to trip.

"We are so set out on killing and putting down our kin when there are already so few of us. Life should be precious to us Mali, not something to be thrown away for greed like the Dwarves would. Kin slaying makes us no better than the Valahs who are in civil war"

Cheza would be in the midst of dragging a cart along when one loose copy of the poster smacks her in the face. A small struggle ensues of the elf trying to free herself with others on the road too amused by the sight to be of much help. Only once the breeze calms is she able to pry it off and examine what it was she 'found'.

"...Why not just ask 'im to change his title then?"

Kairn simply scowls. "Nothing like chikr to tell us we don't follow the ways of Malin -- child killers and bestial Witches, the lot of them."

"Personally, I suggested high prince." Art muttered in his characteristically grumpy drawl.

Ouity reads the pamphlet leisurely, reclining in a rickety wooden chair in the messy den he calls home. In the dim torchlight, he nods slowly before crumpling up the paper and letting it drop on the floor.

"Malin was second only ter Krug in wisdom, an' second ter none in his compassion. In days o' yore, Malinor was a place tha' accepted all, no matter their creed. Even I, a penniless beggar o' a mercenary found purpose under th' trees o' his forest." He explains quietly to the potted plant across the room from him. "Ter take th' title tha' his children have preserved fer him fer generations... millennia o' respect an' love... tis an affront ter be sure. One I'm surprised narry more elves find disgust in. Tis a matter o' honoring one o' th' most righteous figures in th' history o' all th' Races, th' Elf who personally inspired greatness in all o' his kin. Aye, there are some traditions tha' should nae be broken."
