An Earthquake bellowed throughout the Orcish Desert

As the sands danced to the rumbling sound, the Orcs of San'Thraka were stirred from their usual activity. Awoken, or otherwise distracted, the children of Krug amassed at the entrance to the city that now shook before them. They glanced out in search of their Rex, hoping to understand what was occurring on their blessed land.

The Rex, Kharak'Raguk, ran from the horizon, the Orcs meeting him half way. In panic and confusion, they all began to speak at once, asking questions and looking about for the source of the great disturbance. Kharak shouted out for them to follow, and he lead them across the vast expanse of the scorching desert. As they stumbled across the land, it slowly began to settle back into a calm environment. The winds ushered in the cool embrace of relaxation as the Orcs slowed their pace.

Eventually, they arrived at the scene, and the Rex pointed down into the newly birthed chasm.

In shock and awe, the group peered down into the Jungle habitat. It brimmed with life, as flocks of birds danced from one tree to another, and the beasts of the rivers slithered across the humid waters. Naturally, the Orcs were keen to investigate, and with haste, they created a makeshift rope. One by one, they descended into the new world.

As all of the Orcs settled onto the ground, they looked around the enormous cavern with great intrigue, talking among themselves about how this environment came to me. As they spoke, a deep roar reverberated throughout the walls as a pearl-white beast sprung from the trees. Slender in form, and much like a snake, it broke out into the air, spreading its wings as it glowed in luminescence. Terror rung through the Orcish party as they watched on in surprise, reaching for their respective weaponry.

Suddenly, it roared again, before escaping through the great cracks on the Desert surface.

The group looked to one another, before turning to the wise Goj for assurance. Malog'Yar spoke up, explaining that the beast had fled from the might of the Orcs, and that they were safe to traverse this new land. With his staff, he pointed to a nearby walkway, leading the party along in exploration. As they traveled, they took note of the various signs of civilization dotted across the ledge. There were stripped hunks of meat, campfires, and small tools set along the wall.

The Orcs suddenly fell into a state of caution as they continued along their journey. Before long, a pair of unusually large creatures emerged from a cave in the wall. They were similar in stature to an Olog, but seemed to look out at the world through a single eye. The two groups approached one another in caution, attempting to communicate. As they struggled, several of the less interested Orcs continued along the path, taking note of what appeared to be a shrine at the end of the walkway.

With this discovery, the newly named "Azh-Peeperz" grew enraged, attacking the party in a fit of blood lust and stupidity.

Quickly, they were dispatched, leaving the Orcs to ponder on their existence. The Goj spoke up, leading the group toward the shrine. It appeared to be in devotion to the Spirit of Jungles, Zagbal. Malog'Yar spoke on him for a time, before detailing his understanding of the events that had transpired.

He explained that this new world had been exposed to the Orcs, so that they could revere this hungry Spirit. The one-eyed creatures had failed in their devotion to Zagbal, and the children of Krug had been brought here to right their wrongs. It was now up to the Uruk to assist the Spirit of Jungles in growing in power, so that the Orcs might come to live in more fertile lands.

OOC:

First of all, I'd like to thank all of the ET that helped in creating this event.

Builders:

Nolan
Tealulu

Numirya

Actors:

Catarrh
Moochael
Murlocs

Thank you for participating in this event line. You all did extremely well and helped to create what will hopefully come to be an extensive and well remembered event series.

With that said, let me explain the purpose of this series. This event serves as the introduction to the new environment the Orcs are hoping to inhabit on Axios; the Jungles. This series will serve as a means by which the community can directly influence how the Jungle is shaped in 5.0.

A donation chest will be placed in-front of the new shrine, and all Orcs will be instructed to work toward appeasing the Spirit of the Jungle. With sufficient RP, you will have to Modreq or speak with an ET in order to have an item approved that you may place in there; a token, of sorts, so that I can catalog the efforts that have been made toward Zagbal.

The reason for doing these sacrifices and offerings is to influence what happens with the Jungle. The amount of power accredited to Zabgal through your efforts will directly influence the size of the new Jungle, and the amount of creatures that will inhabit it.

So work hard, and sacrifice often.

Lukra adds Zagbal to the list of spirits who are demanding overdue sacrifices from her, and draws up plans for fresh sacrificial raids.
