Bounty Board Improvements!

Hey mates,

Since the bounty board has sort of fallen out of use, I wanted to re-introduce it but make it much more malleable to the current Event team’s strengths, as well as being able to incorporate average player interaction. So, I’m bringing the new and improved board out! This will not only just have monster kill jobs, but plenty of other types of quests for the not so fighter-savvy characters to partake in out there. Hopefully this will bring more event opportunities to more people and make the server feel a lot more active and dynamic.

 

The events that will be posted up here can range from supplying a passing by merchant with enough provisions to reach the next major city, killing a monster lurking in the sewers or even just gathering up some berries from the nearby forest. Literally anything! It allows the ET to be much more flexible with scheduled events, as not everyone’s cup of tea is playing huge monsters fighting off a horde of 10 or so players - probably why the bounty board’s fallen off a bit. It also helps schedule events for groups to get together and enjoy with ET, on top of tackling the issue of struggling to start spontaneous events.

Eh, while I'm not a fan of focusing events on specific guilds or groups of players ((like "this event is only for (insert guild/group)" even if icly there is no real reason for others to be denied involvement, which happened quite a bit with the old bounty board)), I am all for bringing back the bounty board...Though I had assumed that would occur when hunter was released as an occupation.

I doubt I or the other ET are gonna be like "sorry only you can accept this" as there's no one stopping anyone looking and taking a task on a board. Also, this isn't just monsters now, its lots of things. Hunter prof will probably help out too.
