Ok, even though this is a meme thread, that's completely wrong - the staff don't always need new people and don't constantly recruit, and rather than deny potentially good people, we leave their applications up so that we can refer back to them, as well as allow players to continually post feedback on the app or allow them to modify/change it to increase their chances of being picked.
