**Many Ink Stains cover the pages of this book, the penmanship very fine and thick**

“I am Gabriel Maul, A student of Lilyana’s, I was asked to write down my thoughts of ‘Purity’, So here it goes, I believe if you ask a single man or woman from each race what their thoughts of Purity is, What it is, who has it, E.c.t, You’ll get a list of different replies, But my thoughts?...Well, I believe Purity is something gifted to us by the Lord, something each, and every breathing, living being has, From Krug, The Malin, to Lady Lilyana, to a simple Guardsman, like myself, If all people have ‘Purity’ inside them, what are the questions? Do they enhance it? Do they bring out the light in themselves, or do they hide it under a cloak of darkness? There is a Thick line between ‘Good’ And Purity. A man that walks along the streets of an Oren city, giving food to the poor, doesn’t make them pure, For Purity, is much much deeper,  I believe Purity, is mercy, forgiveness, and Faith, rather it be in a god, or in your self, I’ve once met an elven man, who says he has never shed a  drop of blood, but has been brought to his knees many times, somehow, un-braking his faith in the Lord, despite being so beaten, That, is purity, or maybe It’s not..Maybe Purity is something more..A gift from the Aenguls, Or a simple thought in one man’s mind.. But no matter how you see it, No matter who’s tongue it comes from..no one can truly tell you what Purity is. A Dear Friend of mine, told me what he thought Purity was, ‘Being free from immortality, for when you’re pure, you’ll have no darkness..’ A Rather vague reply, but I simply nodded, Now, let me tell you what /I/ Truly think it is.”

“My Father was a noble man, for the ten years I knew him, he prayed to the Lord, and thanked the Creator for his life, but by night, he slept with many, and lead his vessel to ‘impurity’, So in short, praying, loving the lord, acting as if you have faith purity. For purity, is something else, it is being unmarked, it’s being an untouched vessel, It’s being able to push thru the darkness, without being lead on by it’s promises, No love for gold, or heart for women should stop you from being pure.. You should be able to jump into a pool full of lust, and greed, and even death. But bed no more than your wife, spend no more than your own, and slay no innocent man, If one can truly do this, if one can truly live thru life without being blinded by the darkness, then, Aren’t they pure? Maybe not..” **Ink drops would cover the rest of that page, as if Maul was going to say more, but went to the next page.**

“If You have two (or more) eyes, breath your own breath, and have flesh, rather it be Green, black, or White, You have purity within you..The option to use this purity is your own. So long as your will, is your own, then you can embrace your purity, and let it shine like a light that weakens the dark, and blinds the faithless, For you, and only you, can lead yourself into purity, No High elf King, No Orcish Rex, and no Graven Spook can tell you you are impure.. For the choice is yours, and only yours,”

“‘I am lost..broken, and un-fixable ,’ Something the Darkness will poke at you, and make you think to bend your will, and brake your faith, but worry not..there is hope..If you hurt the lives of innocent, be it man or woman, Orc or Elf, Elder..Or Youth..Then free yourself..I say that anyone who is impure..and can pure..because why? Because I have faith, I have faith that not only did the Lord gift us all with purity, but, also with Free will..One small change in your life..Could make the change, of everyone around you..Shine bright, Love all your  enemies, be loyal to your wives, and nothing. Can stop you, from being Pure..”

A Frost Witch wipes an imaginary tear from her cheek. "Oh my, oh my. It seems I can say to myself that I'm pure, and voila! Maybe I should try doing that with hunger." She pauses, allowing a slight smirk. "I'm not hungry - I am not."

Lily holds the books pages at a strange angle, allowing the candles light to shine on the ink and making it easier to read.

A hand rubs her temple as she continue to read from the growing pains in her head as she tries to focus upon the dark ink. She eventually suffers through the books contents, setting it down and bringing up her second hand to the opposite temple.

'He truly is a blank slate when it comes to these things, as he said...' She muses in her own mind as she contemplates his view while massaging her head. '....he has hope within him and the desire to direct people to the path of purity once more....but I must buy him a new set of colored inks and quills for Krugsmas.'

She stands slowly, taking the tome and placing it on an empty shelf in her study, the only markings on the shelf would be his name -Gabriel- etched into the oaken wood. The first of many tomes to come, on Gabriel's path to understanding the Light.

Gray would set down the book, letting a heavy sigh escape him

Lad should learn to space his words apart. make it easier to read.. and maybe not spill ink on it.. tad bit messy.

He then would sip his morning brew standing up to prepare for his own writing

"Mercy? Forgiveness? Love? Purity is not something derived from ideas as soft as that. Purity is akin to transforming one's inner self into a steadfast gemstone, hardened and free of any tainting found in the world around it. Purity is, and should remain unaffected by outwardly influences. Can Pure Silver be called such with iron or copper sprinkled into the mix?" Brelynnis scoffs quietly.

"Nonetheless, a well-written piece. Though horribly misguided."
