[!] The Barbanov Keep is inundated with guests and spectators as Marius stands at the dais to be crowned surrounded by his retinue and honorary guard force.

The throne room would be filled with the gale of the chilling wind as it passed through the doors of Ottostad. Town criers bring news to the people of the North, shouting with joy and fervor as the then young Barbanov is to be coronated.

The atmosphere would be filled with abundant fanfare as the many guests try to get a glimpse of the young man who would be styled as Sovereign King of Hanseti-Ruska. This time, not as a boy, but now regally installed as a king in his own right. With the mirth that accompanied the ceremony and the newly declared independent North, Marius looks on from the throne, sitting with much admiration at the joyous occasion.

The hall would be ornately decorated in the gold and black banners that wave vibrantly in the venue. The light of a hundred candles fills the room, illuminating the grand occasion and shedding light amidst the darkest of days. The honorary Knights of the Golden Crow line the dais and the Keep, looking on in their gleaming appearance as they stand beside their liege to protect and defend the royal presence. The streets of the capital roam with the Royal Brigade of St Karlsburg who secure the bastion of the Northern populace.

All men and women of Haense, as well as honorary guests, dressed immaculately in the square of St. Karlsburg, gather in merriment and bountiful joy on this saint’s day of a significant event in history. The lords and ladies to the lowliest serfs of the realm arrive in awe to pledge their fealty and to share in the admiration of the sentiment of the royal family. The royal courtier rises, announcing with a loud and audible voice:

“We welcome all guests of high esteem, on behalf of the Royal House of Barbanov, to the grand occasion as we witness the imposition of the crown of the North on the head, His Majesty the King Marius I of Hanseti and Ruska, Grand Prince of the Raev, Duke of Akovia, Krajia, Greymarsh and Alban, Margrave of Vanderfell and Adria, Count of Siegrad, Werdenburg, Kavat, Karovia, Torun, Owynswood and Kaunas, Lord of St. Karlsburg, Protector of the Highlanders.” As Bishop Rory Othaman rests the crown on Marius’s head, chants would be heard from the keep of the royal family.

Banners of the vassals were raised up concurrent with that of the royal sigil, displaying an array of patriotic fealty and exuberant sentiments. “God save the king!,” would be shouted by the attendants of the ceremony repeatedly. The event is accentuated by the nostalgic sentiment of the glorious past and the hopeful prospect of a future, an independent nation, as a multitude of onlookers take their glimpse of the memorable occasion when the young king assumes his seat as the next occupant of the Throne of King Petyr.

“Long may he reign!,” would be uttered by the present guests.
