The Forests of Malin Defense Act

[!] Perhaps you have seen the flier, perhaps others speak of its contents.

Regardless the information below seems widely available within the three elven settlements [!]

The greatest gifts given to us were to combat the blights set against all descendant races.

Our children are few are far between, especially for those of pure elven blood.

In light of this we are graced with near-immortality but also a second gift.

Our forests are meant to bring peace to our kin.

For our children and our children's children.

Yet with the spiritual bridge that brought us here we must also coexist with

each of the other descendant races who are culturally estranged from us.

Even within our prominent societies, be it the mali'ame, mali'aheral or mali'ker,

we exist quite differently. In this land of our ancestors and the ruins of their greatest cities

we see forest ancient and young torn asunder to make way for innovation and new cities.

We cannot declare sovereignty over each and every tree within the realm of Axios but

the collective elven race should work towards defining our forest boundaries and borders

that we can maintain, preserve and come to understand our blessing better. We need

not be druids to find the blessing of peace within the domains of Malin and thus I

seek to propose the agreement of Malin's Trinity.

1.) Three Forests shall be kept sacred and regularly cleared of outsiders.

2.) The Elven States shall cooperate to see our forests protected from industry and deforestation.

3.) The sacred forests shall be nurtured as to see their mortality matched to our own, eternal.

4.) The Elven States shall work with neighboring national entities to either set  paths, or relocate settlements if necessary.

[!] Below are rough drawings of the forests [!]

The Trinity Forests:

"The young forest near Haelun'or borders many human settlements and is in the most direct danger. The Government of Haelun'or is asked to expand its borders to include the forest and the Dominion is asked to lend aid in the effort to naturalize any scars within."

"The older, sister-forest in which the mali'ame and mali'ker inhabit. It is asked that the government of the Dominion remain firm in their treatment of the forest."

"The father forest which the monks now inhabit. It is asked that the collective Elven governments seek to reclaim these lands to preserve this ancient site, in which so much of our history is grown into the bark and chiseled into the stone."

To toss aside our forests or to allow outsiders to manufacture settlements within will be disastrous. I am no druid though I realize the necessity to bring out attention to this. With war subsiding it is time we turn our focus inwards. You need not be a druid or a mali'ame to understand the duty each kin of Malin holds. Bringing cultural attention back to our roots is a step

towards maintaining peace between our nations.

Protect our history, our knowledge and our future.

A reply is penned and delivered by a dove.

"The druids of the Naelurir stand ready to maintain the integrity of the wild and the blessed forests of elven kind. Call upon us to heal, purify or cleanse your lands. And rest assured, the forests of the mali'ame are within good hands."

Regards,

Archdruid Artimec Caerme'onn

"Your Sohaer literally gave the forest away to Norland, for no reason. And now it is the Vigil's home too" Arche says, essentially, to himself.

"No, all we seek is to keep the forests healthy. I've no care for who lives where so long as they respect the land."

A Norlandic peasent would happily continue chopping wood, waving to the angered elves across the river.

"READY TO WORK," "ALRIGHT," "OFF I GO THEN!"

Zvarak, the black orc, thinks this is a complete waste of time and energies

But no-one reads thoughts.

A low growl emits for an Ame as he patrols the forests of the Dominion, finding the stumps of trees cut long ago.

"Muh balance" he mutters. "Grrrr, urbanization, grrr!"
