Gizzol 252 Share Posted February 12, 2017 "Screw the people, you know the law you live by and you follow it" The figure that currently sat on the edge of the crater was a man known to many. his blue robes caressed in the breeze as it licked around him. Tepah was sitting in his new favorite spot. It was a simple dimple in the earth. In shallowest point was nestled an small pond with a single spruce tree growing for it. On all but one side of it was a steep rocky incline, Tepah however sat at the shallow entrance to the bowl. His mind would wander, a sadly common thing for the priest. First was that of how he had meet the greatest love of his life, Varosh. A smile creeping across his maw as he remembers teaching her to swim and spear fish, of their family happily living in the temple. his mind would swim forward in time to burying her. the heat of her pyre still wafting against his face. He would tilt his head up to look at the stars, somewhere up there she was watching him and waiting for him to return to her. Next would be his time of exile, his glorious years in the dwarven legion. not dwelling on the sadness he would recall Dimlin. That spunky yet ignorant dwarf being the first that welcomed him and accept Tepah into the mountain. Jorik would be his leader through the legion, training and guiding them to protect their people. Rhewen keeping him safe from Mukar even if it was clear Rhewen did not like him. The hammerfist coming to creation with Duren at their head. Then later the fall of the same clan, driving some to try and kill off the Grandaxe clan. The time that the Dwarves came together to handle a wyvern that had invaded the ireheart clan hall. Had there been racism? Yes, but he was still seen as just another legionnaire and that's all he wanted. Finally his mind would spin back to Sutica, the land in which he currently lived and served in. Here he truly knew acceptance, one free of racism. The Princess was kind and fair, putting this complete stranger before her own needs. This was how she ruled her nation and it was the guide for how Tepah tried to enforce its laws. He remember his three adoptive children, having them grow up as strong kha. His estate and grounds briefly playing across his mind, For it was the first thing he had ever truly owned. With all of these thoughts swirling in his mind there was a strangely never a constant that he could glean from his life. as this thought struck him he would stand, turning about to take a few strides before dropping to all fours. A Few days later in a small farm area just east of Metz A single Pyre burned in the woods, blue flames licking around the body of the rogue priest. The only man present would be Bastion Curthose. He would stand solemnly as he watched the priest ascends to the stars. After the fire dies away the ashes are gathered and set in an urn. Tepah had left on his own terms, just as he had lived his life, however the priest had done enough and it was time he went home. Dra knayd dnimo hajan tea, drao cesbmo suja uh du paddan drehkc. (The great truly never die, they simply move on to better things.) dm420 186 Share Posted February 13, 2017 Astrawla would sit on a rug within a cold cavern, looking down with no pleasure whatsoever, she begins to mourn for her old friend/enemy. "Astrawla.. sh-she couldn't see him one last t-time.." she falls, burying her face into rug, her tail wrapping around her as tears wet the area around her. "She can't believe this!" iris1612 1780 Share Posted February 13, 2017 The Tlatlanni sits, pondering the news. He should feel happy, that a threat to his supremacy was gone, but oddly, he feels.. sad. He collects himself with a sigh, making a mental note to honor the Priest of Metztli, despite their misgivings.

Viochemist 664 Share Posted February 13, 2017 Seen through one of the large windows peering into the royal chambers. The Emiress, sitting in fetal position in Tepah's large pet bed. A bed dazzled in lapis and gold galore. She snuggled one of his diamond crested necklaces to her chest. Distraught, tears seeming to continuously fall; only two words remained, "Shokran, r-rafiqi..." Soggy365 162 Share Posted February 13, 2017 Upon hearing the news, Aldal chokes up, remembering his adventures with the one Kha he had really gotten to know. He downs a flagon of ale, burps, and lets out a long, rumbling blast from his bagpipes, before singing in a hoarse voice the words taught to him by Onar Ireheart many centuries beforehand, "Amaziiiiiiiin' Graaaaace, 'ow sweet deh sound..."
