“Cultists infiltrate Haense, the cultists are garbed in yellow paying homage to their unborn god.”

Following the murder of an innocent child, a plague of heretical proportions would descend upon Karlsburg and Carnatia. It all began with a disturbance in the Hansetic palace, when a guard had rushed up the stairs when blood had dripped onto Ser Owyn Amador’s forehead. To his horror, he would uncover an unholy act of a heretical nature.

The maids had been murdered in their beds and next to their decapitated forms now lay a cyclopean statuette carved from a black rock. The guard turned towards the entrance and spotted one of the cultists responsible for the horrific act, but before he could act the cultist threw himself off the palace balcony and disappeared into the night.

The following night, Metz would discover an even more gruesome sight, a maid’s head had been placed in front of the throne room doors with yet another cyclopean statuette. The maid’s innards had been used to deck the palace halls while the doors had been busted down to do so.

Following the pattern of these horrible incidents, a farmer in Carnatia had been decapitated in a similar fashion. His innards now litter a darkened house next to Farley’s humble abode with yet another disturbing statuette located inside.

A tavern has been ransacked in Karlsburg, the portraits had been slashed and the tables turned. Some of the furniture would appear to have been smashed and all the while no one had noticed. The tavern owner would find a disturbing letter addressed to the peoples of Haense and Lorraine.

The cultist responsible for the heinous act was caught, but slain before he could be interrogated.

A cult has begin to take root in Haense and its goals are unknown to us all. Posters would now litter the dark alleys of Karlsburg and Lorraine, they speak of a cult that promises eternal life and an age without war in suffering, all one has to do to join is heed the call and sacrifice a nonbeliever. Darkness has taken root and madness has won its day, Haense has begun its descent into madness.

Otto killed the assailant soon after with his trusted friend, Grindel.

Nemir stepped past the trio on the road, saying, "Yikes."

"I wonder if murdering those Courlandic soldiers counts towards the initiation." Eirik wonders, as he spits our a piece of whale fat that he has previously been chewing.

"I wonder if any of this actually happened or if it's just stories being told to rile up the masses? Either way, it's pretty lame."

"Yea why claim to kill anybody when you didn't. Regardless you have killed innocent maids and wouldn't dare to even try attack any of the soldiers. That says a lot doesn't it." Says Felix Fitch in response to the non-existent maids who are claimed to have been killed.

Melia frowned, going into a depth of thought! "If they are called the Crimson Cult why are they garbed in yellow robes? What in Emma Vanirs chest."
