Hughes would sit at his desk, angrily pounding his fist on the table "Zhey call zhis peace? I call zhis a weak attempt to form an Empire. Furzhermore, zhey know we won't accept zhese vulgar terms, but zhey made zhem so zhey can try to prove zhat Haense is war hungry. Nobody would accept zhis!"

Joe Talbot looks over the terms of peace, picking up his favorite crayon as he scribbles out the Courlandic signatures and titles, signing the document himself before handing it to Marius.

"Marius i've come to accept your terms of surrender!" he shouts.

*Adrian Turing peered over the scripture from his perch overlooking the snow covered roads of Haense, arm resting on the ledge of Mondstadt's watch tower as the snow built upon his pauldron.*

"Well if this isn't a mess..." *He muttered, before peering down the road towards Metterden.*

"The King's been good to us here, and all I've ever witnessed from Courland are endless raids upon my home. So what if the Stauntons won one major battle, this demand smacks of arrogance so early in a war, and I've no fancy to bow down to a half brained fool who thinks himself better than his peers, god or not."

"P-please dont r-r-raid us, our war effort is dying" Philipp repeats a phrase quoted from King Tobias.

Queen Lisette Staunton would catch word of this joke, addressing the group of courtiers whom had come to report it to her.

"Our war effort is quite strong, in fact. My husband would not stutter, either, nor would he shy away from fighting our enemies. The slanderers of Haense wouldn't be too happy if someone pointed out that they refer to Oren as 'their Empire' or Philip Frederick as 'their Emperor' in their propaganda, something their people so quickly overlook."

The queen would laugh heartily with the group, bidding them a good day before going off to her office to continue writing letters.

"When you win when it matters, heads will roll." States the Marshal Jacque de Felsen to a group of Courlandic officers, ancient war tactics that surprisingly sprout from old Hansetian culture.

"I love how both sides are accusing each other of attempting to form an Empire when neither have any reasonable grounds to base that statement upon." Glendon would say, bored at the exchange of imperialism accusations.

"Whump!" The sound of felled trees echo throughout Turov, Coltaine brushes his hands off, have brought the latest tree down with ease, signaling the work crew to come in delimb it , make  the logs serviceable for new construction and siege artillery being built all over the kingdom. Before too long a worker brings Coltaine news of the terms. "Old Tobi is a mad if he thinks these terms are reasonable, he spits in our face and expects us to say thank you." He grunts, signalling the crews to work double time, doing his part to put the Haensetian war machine in motion.
