The King is dead.

 

To the citizens of Lotharingia,

 

After over a decade, the House of d’Amaury are your overlords no more. For too long have the few who still reside in this kingdom been made to be reclusive, with no city or royal council to guide or protect them. The King, a boy untrained by a father who left him as a babe, was duly untrained by the men left to council him in matters of state, both here and abroad.  He lead on those around him,  both nobles foreign and native, to believe one thing and have it never come to fruition.

 

From this time until the end of her life, House Horen-Pruvia, officially reverting to it’s original name of ‘Horen-Preussens’, is now the ruling family of Lotharingia, to guide this land into a new dawn, with Anna Sophia Horen-Preussens at it’s head. To make peace with those in Mardon, Courland, and other nations so that we might focus on what is important: Surviving. A royal council shall be established, and new plans are being discussed as you read this proclamation now.

 

A new age is here, and with it will come true peace and prosperity. I reach out to my kin, both in the family and human sense, to aid me in bringing life back to this kingdom.

Owyn simply sits himself in his Estate in the tropical Republic of Carasca with a letter in hand. The young man stayed silent for several minutes, thinking on these events. "I must make sure no more blood is shed.." He muttered quietly. He quickly sent Ravens out towards those still loyal to House Amador, quickly making his way to Lorraine to see his Mother.

Mattington Ironsowrd smiles on his deathbed, having learnt the news of what had happened.  He knew that Anna Sophia would one day achieve great things.  She had been trained since birth to rule, and he knew she would rule wisely.

Frederick Augustus would smile in the throne room, having only met his sister for the first time a few months prior, he had grown fond of her. An upbringing by monks and priests was a poor substitute for a proper family, and the young Knight was happy for his sister, now Queen of Lotharingia, it crossed his mind that perhaps things were looking up for her, and the family as a whole.

Meanwhile in the Seven Skies, Owyn smiles happily with Mattington, he had ensured his little Anna was fulfilling her destiny, and taking what belonged to her, just as he taught her. No father could be more proud of their daughter, that was for certain.

Annabel grips the missive in her hands, the parchment crumpling and shaking in her fingers. She drew in a breath, letting it out slowly. The fire-haired noblewoman worked hard to quell her anger. She remained silent, her assistants looking on with concern to the brooding Queen-Mother. She stepped closer to her desk, setting the paper down on the top, her fingers splaying out over the curling, inked words.

Queen Anna Sophia would be traveling, catching wind of Arthur's wishes at a roadside market. She'd pen a letter to him, quickly remounting her stallion and bolting down the road.

Victor is happy to see him working the wood, though he hears a faint hissing - a slithering sound resonating from the grass. "Oh no Nikolai, your brothers have arrived!"
