I'm just confused, how did admins abuse their power to unban pyro in a biased manner? The unbanning was being voted on by the moderators, then was decided to be an administrative decision and that vote came out in his favour. It's hardly abuse of power, when they were in the right to vote on the unbanning, and how was it biased? Biased towards whom? The current administration is made up of; Harold, Wrynn, 501, and Telanir, out of which none of them talk with him on a personal level and none actively interact with him, or the group Pyro associates with. Labeling something as either 'abusive' or 'biased' does more harm when it's in ignorance. Whether I believe he should be unbanned, kept banned for longer, or just removed from the community as a whole, is quite frankly irrelevant to the topic at hand, which floats about the topic of 'did the admins do wrong' to which, it's a large matter of perspective.

 

Pyro wished to be unbanned. The vote went to the administration. Voting ended with an unbanning.

 

Where is the abuse, where is the bias? Simply stating that you think there is abuse or bias there doesn't help anything. What was abused? What bias exists there? Vagueness and ignorance shouldn't be used as something to base your opinions off of.

The ban was totally unjust in the first place. Honestly, what did he do that rendered him worthy of being banned this long at all?

 

And no, being a high-up member of a faction that might have opposed yours in role-play is not the answer.

We acted as we believed was appropriate and even now, far past the date of this thread, we are confident it has been the correct decision.
