Howdy i'm making this topic to ask the community about their opinion of Haria. Is there a particular reason you do not visit besides inactivity? What would make the farfolk races more appealing to the player base? Just lay it on me big boys.

 

We're looking into rewriting the Qualasheen religion into something more unique and less related to the real world muslims as well. If you have any ideas that'd also be helpful.

tbh inactivity is the main problem.  if y'all had more things going on, i'd probably be more likely to come.  i'd suggest planning an event or a festival of some sort to get activity started.

Well, I personally find Haria hard to navigate, so I guess that's one thing you could consider fixing up.

Too many memes, even for me. As well, my character hates the desert/heat, so it's just unfortunate overall.

do you take the cart? because once you get off asul boat, you walk straight forward and its the first cart you see.

Haria lacks competent leadership (as most/all have left, largely to go back to their own lives) and any sort of framing to it that makes it an interesting place to roleplay and not just a giant, sandstone meme in the middle of a manufactured desert.

 

A lot of the community tends to make branches and forget or lose what makes their branch unique and offer something to the server. Haria is one of those branches that forgot. This is what I mean by "framing"; where you might expect, say, Geoffrey Chaucer to (ideally) tell the stories of Orenners or the Brothers Grimm to tell some of the higher-fantasy stuff, the Qalasheen would see their stories told by the likes of Scheherazade. It should still be fantasy, but a different fantasy with a different flavor.

i'm afraid i'll be featured in the next jihadi beheading video posted by adam and ibraheem the pvp gods. Also, if we visit it, it's empty, so there's not really a point if there's no rp to be had.

I stopped playing a farfolk a while back because of an influx of non-farfolk peoples allowed into the city and whatnot. It got to the point where it was just a hodgepodge of various races instead of a farfolk-focused city. 

As of now, inactivity and a lack of leadership, as previously said, are the main deterring factors from Haria flourishing as well as it should be.

<3 aw sorry but your not that special for a beheading video and thanks for think us of pvp gods that means alot we recently been ******* up on some pvp battles so that gave us a good confidence boost <3, but yeah with all seriousness, thanks for the feed back on it basicly low activity, we still working on it but hopefully it will get better with some things we gana try soon!
