 ~ Mud, Dresses and a New City ~

So she arrived. The carriage she sat in pulled by horses coming to an immediate stop outside the grand walls of San Adrian, ultimately producing a small thud in the seating den. Vanderlise, the woman sat inside, shuddered at the sound, a bitter tone plaguing her visage. Eventually, the carriage master relieved himself from his chair at the front and moved to the back, opening her door for her. With that, she descended from the small stairs provided onto the muddy floor, giving a slight squeal of disgust as she did so, not wanting her new cloak and dress to be tainted. Slowly, however, Vanderlise approached the gate and ignored the filth seeping into her fabric as best she could, admiring the colossal walls. She gave one last large breath of air before entering the city with a broad smile across her face, her bleachy blonde hair shimmering in the sunlight, and her light-blue eyes reflecting the sight of the crowded city of San Adrian.
