Lsuvsfar 255 Share Posted December 26, 2017 I'm really not sure what culture Courland is. They're a heartland house, but in a highland environment. I'm pretty sure we were Swedish back in the day. Also, few problems with your map. Iran isn't arabic, therefore not Qalasheen. Georgia and Armenia are very different culturally from Russia. Cossacks are pretty distinct from the rest of the Ruskan culture, so I'd probably throw them into separate groups.

I've met a few errors here Sander First of all, while Courland is named after the original courland in Latvia. It's culture is very English. Santegia also derives some of its culture form France as Well as Spain. It's very basque. Illatians also seem to be originally based off Spanish culture, although you could say they are based off Spanish Italy. (Naples, Sicily, Sardinia) Note, Norfhern Italy and Southern Italy are very different. Qalasheen Farfolk are also Arab, not Northern Africa. Norlanders in Denmark? This makes no sense, they just seem Norse to me. Anyway this is just my take on comparing the unoriginal lotc lore to real life lore.
