I heard they removed that because A. It was killing players, and B. People abused it heavily

 

I also heard there was a fish that shot you 64 blocks strait up upon eating too.

that was the skyfish............

 

it was used to get into places where u were not necessarily wanted

 

like conclave on a white llama

i've been fishing a shitload for like a week, ever since the patchnotes about biome-specific fish came out, and i've come to the conclusion that either the biomes that have different fish are minimal, or the plugin itself is broken and doesn't actually have the different drop-tables for different biomes it's supposed to, as i've fished in nearly twenty biomes and have only caught the same three fish in all of them.

edit: for reference, the three fish i get in every biome are 'Sunfish', 'Moltenfish', and 'Magikarp'.

That being said, DPM is right that these buffs are overpowered. If creatures get immunity to hunger they need to have a fixed, low saturation value and a slowness debuff.

Oops, after a quick check in the code there is an error with the biomes, should be patched next time one of the devs uploads the patched version. The eating raw fish stack patch should also be fixed.
