Peasants, commoners and nobles hurrying out their doors to buy new robes or to wash their old ones. Taking out their best furs to adorn themselves with. Meanwhile the royal household would be working hard to clean out old dust from the palace and polishing the silverware. Invitations having already been sent out with the ravens along with posters hung up around Markev. “You are hereby invited to the dance of furs that is to be hosted in the palace in four saint's day The theme of the dance will be one of the common beasts and animals in Haense to celebrate the courageous men that hunts our dire wolves, boars and bears. The females are expected to come to this dance with a pouch where they may keep their different tokens from the males that wish to dance with them. The different tokens can be a beaded necklace, tiara, bracelet or ring made from the bones, claws and teeth from the different animals the men has killed. They may even offer a new fur for their lady. A hunting party will be hosted a saint’s day before the dance so the men may prepare their tokens for the different women they wish to dance with. Whether it be friend, wife, relative or one they wish to marry. Though no man can dance with a woman unless they give them a token. At the end of the ball there will be a small announcement of whom has the best fur robe or animal design on the robe for the men and gown for the women. With the prize being a small leather pouch of 250 minas to both of the winners. The two being given the honorary title King and Queen of furs.
