Clan wars is an internal conflict in Krugmar between various clans that warrant only orcs to take part in the battles. They are heavily rp and story driven, and are not just pvp based, and many actions can be taken icly to permanently damage the clan such as destroying their clan halls, slaughtering their cultural animals, or desecrating their spirit’s shrines. Clan wars in the past have heavily wounded clan numbers, and sometimes even completely destroyed the clan or have caused a clan to vassalize. There is no Casus Belli system for them, but rather if an orc has an ic reason to declare war on another clan, the war will go into full effect. The Clan Wars that has just been declared by Clan Lak were caused over the perceived dishonour of a shaman after he escaped death from an honour klomp by other stepping in, though the battle was not agreed to be to the death. After the demand for the shaman’s head was refused by his clan’s Wargoth, Shakul of Clan Gorkil (leader of the clan), the Clan War was put into effect, and alliances are quickly being made amongst the Orcish clans.

HOW IT WILL START:

 

 



Laks will begin at the Raguk warcamp in the Sutican Barrow Downs and from there will march to San’Kala where a field skirmish will occur in the plains before the city.

A schedule will be made for when skirmishes for areas will begin.

I. Red: GORKIL AND ALLIES STRONGHOLDS



Using this map, the Laks and allies that declared war on Gorkils (The defending, and Rex clan) will have a warpath through the city to conquer the land of Gorkils and allies. The gray land will be won through skirmishes and can be used as stretches of land IF Laks choose to try and conquer it, or if it is in their warpath, which will require a skirmish to be won to proceed. Victory is gained by either killing all enemies, or causing them to flee or hide behind an inaccessible place without actively fighting back. Fleeing is considered leaving the specific highlighted area, and is allowed if they attack again in 10 minutes. If Laks and allies lose an organized skirmish, they will be pushed back to their previous stronghold, and if Gorkils wish to, they can attempt to war the stronghold. If Laks win an organized skirmish, they will gain the land, and will proceed to the next stronghold, and will push Gorkils and allies back to another stronghold they possess. Though it is not included in the map, the Raguk camp in the Sutican Barrowdowns counts as a Lak and allies stronghold. In addition to the Laks and allies having the Raguk camp, Gorkil and allies will have San’Gorka which will be claimed in 1 conquest with a GM / WD doing //sphere to act as trebs if clans decide to buy them. We will just role play rams out to break open the many gates and a GM will break them open for us if we meet the needed roll.

ROLE PLAY BEASTS WILL BE ABLE TO BREAK OPEN GATES

 

 



More specifically for the skirmish on San’Gorka, beasts such as Myrzyms (Giant Raguk Elephants) will be able to break open gates, they can be used to stand on top of and ladder up the side of the walls, and some other things if you can think of realistic uses for them.

 


The clan leaders will have a meeting to decide what animals can be used for what in certain conditions. They will not be used for most of the skirmishes within the city as they are just skirmishes and not sieges and have no purpose in pvp .

Orcs can also attack other orcs in the city alone, but not to kill, and rather just to beat them up and show their clan’s superiority. If a duel is proposed, it can be to the death. Large skirmishes are not to happen every few hours, and the rules of war will be honoured to the scheduled skirmishes, unless certain orcs decide to exercise treachery and strike before the accepted date (not to conquer, but to kill orcs and damage supplies, etc.).
(Not a mechanic to abuse and kill the other clan’s noobs)

IN THIS CLAN WAR: The side that is victorious can choose to allow the clan members to live, kill the wargoths, return the land, whatever it’s role play.


Peace can also be made if the clans wish to.

Role Play in the Clan Wars:
There are various ways to damage another clan in this Clan War through role play. The only way to damage someone else’s clan hall / stronghold would be doing it after taking over it in a skirmish. Keep damage to a minimum because you are expected to live in it, unless you have other plans. It is up to you, as it is role play!
You can also strike a clan’s spiritual core by massacring their cultural animals, desecrating shrines, humiliating their clan members, and role play fights. Furthermore, when clans go to sacrifice great beasts before battles or something along those lines, even if you are not a shaman you can interact with the spirits in classic orcish fashion with giving your own sacrifices, smoking green, and getting drug induced visions and blessings from spirits to win the war. It is basically innumerable and up to you. If you want to get really serious and taboo you can attack their spirit with Dark Shamanism.

                        How to Join:
You’ll need to make an orc and join a clan that is participating in the Clan Wars either through trials, or by getting permission to make a clan born orc. Alternatively, you could pledge yourself to a clan as an orc, but may be expected to join soon after. The leaders of clans have their username and discord listed below.

                            How to get to the City:
Follow the road signs that say ‘The Iron Uzg’ in the northern nations road from the Cloud Temple ( Cloud Temple is the Spawn Point).

tfw 2 orcs run into Sutica and mcly click participants of an event of mine off of a roof for no reason

I like that Orcs deal with their issues in their own ways instead of dwelling in admin-approved doohickery. It's independent, and I think it's a good system. You can tell they don't wanna murder each other oocly due to agreeing with this sort of thing.
