[!] A depiction of the Siege of Demon’s End, circa 1691

Today was a day of triumph for the united Empire of Man!

Young and old, men and women, noble and commoner all joined together on this day, in the year of our GOD above, 1691, to beat back the pagans that plagued the south with their greed and arrogance. With great bravery and vigor, the Imperial Prince Cassius led the soldiers of the Empire into battle with great enthusiasm. Following behind his flowing battle standard, our fighters launched their assault upon Arberrang’s territory with the joined forces of Haense, Adria, Curon, and the rest of the Empire’s valiant vassals.

With masterful use of our siege weaponry, the ruined fortress’ front was brought to rubble, allowing the brave warriors from all over the Imperium to flood the enemy in their own hideout, sending them cowering further into the halls of their final bastion against the righteous attackers. One by one, their enemies fell, and GOD himself granted them victory. The victors celebrated, throwing up their swords and taking up a grand cheer. The bodies of the slain rebels sat within their empty halls now, their names forever condemned to be lost to time.

The mission of the Pagans was thwarted, with their demons sent off to cower once again in the shadows.

GOD bless the Empire! GOD bless His Imperial Majesty! And GOD bless the might of Humanity!

Cassius continues plotting with his Grandfather in the war room, maliciously grinning as he takes pleasure in rebels dying.

Rhys leans back in his chair, looking over reports from the battle, “So. . the end draws ever closer.” Rhys glances at his sword leaned against the wall with blood stains still on it, “What will it cost us?”

Torsten would say, “It only took them three royal armies.”

”I wonder why they would openly rebel and wish harm against an Empire of multiple Royal Armies..” The Prince ponders, looking over the self-attempted destruction of what is the newly active, loyal vassal of Nordengrad.

Across the continent, a skull helmet stares over the desert dunes with passivity, a massive Warhammer grasped in the silhouette's claw-like gauntleted fingers. The battle had been long, the siege even longer; but the Rebels, Orcs, and Norlanders had perished in droves.

The Kingdom of Gladewynn stands triumphant alongside the Empire.

But there was honor and merit to every battle. The souls lost to battle were numerous, but a victory was worth it all the same.

After all, was it not foolish for the enemy to assault a bigger force and expect them not to pull their numbers?

Tuvya var Ruthern reads the announcement, a, granted dour, smile contorting his features. Pointing to the city of Markev, half-slashed on a worn and tattered map hanging from his wall, he turns to the small band following him.

“A victory for my father’s homeland, it seems. I had figured it was time to return, but my interest has piqued enough to make my venture all the more important. Perhaps I have something to learn from these people.”

Hans de Ruyter continues biking to the north, furiously pedaling as to escape the coming winter. “Damn. It seems they have done my job for me,” he laments, wishing the awful weather wouldn’t have gotten in the way of a good holy war.

“Norlanders are not known for their intelligence or wit, y’highness.” quips a guard to the prince.

A pair of Velian men observe the conflict from the siege camp in mild discontent. Canus would address the man opposite of himself, “Will they pursue matters of peace or press this extermination, I wonder?”

“Lets be real, we all know that Nordengrad didn’t rebel, that’s just the excuse this time.” Says Grigori.

“Unfortunate that we missed a few ants.” Astrid would retort to the rebel, adjusting the bandages on her left arm.

“P-p-please Haense rebel with us.” The Prince would mimic the Norlander meeting with Haense a week before the rebel outbreak happened, laughing with his friend King Robert.
