To the people of Haense,

 

My time as a vassal has come to an end, for I have realized the need to focus on my family and young children. For that reason, I have decided to abdicate my landed titles in favor of two people: Jakob Marius Ludovar, my younger brother, and Alastrine Vientos, a young cousin and protegee of my own.

 

To my brother, Jakob Ludovar, I leave the Duchy of Kvazs and the County of Mondstadt. To my cousin and former ward Alastrine, I leave my Barony of Mehran. I also name my brother, along with his titles, as head of House Ludovar and it’s new Patriarch.

 

It is with heavy heart that I must do this, but a decision I feel I made long ago and do with a clear mind.

Alastrine Vientos accepts her newfound position with a hazed mindset, though with the wholehearted belief that the tutelage both her father and her cousin have bestowed upon her will provide her with the necessary tools to carry out her tasks effectively.

Rickard’s brow would be perked with a sense of surprise. “Well, this is interesting. Alastrine’s definitely one deserving of such honour; I’m sure it will get under the skin of a few concerned fraudsters though,” he commented with a lack of concern, returning to his study.
