THE MINISTRY OF TRUTH

Issued and confirmed by His Imperial Excellency, the Minister of Truth of the Holy Orenian Empire, Alexander II of the House of Merentel, 19th of Snow’s Maiden, 1723

During the War of the Two Emperors, there have been innumerables attempts to defame, slander and insult our Empire and its institutions: our Emperor has been defamed by a marnatian pretender who falsely claimed that he had no rights to the Imperial Throne, our Royal Family has been denounced and excommunicated by a false High Pontiff, and the members of the Privy Council have been insulted by our former enemies. 

 

All these direct attacks to the honour of our Empire have come along with an obvious and intentional pretension of altering the truth of the recent historical events, explaining a false history that never existed and that was only created to benefit our former enemies. However, this situation shall no longer continue.

 

From now on, the Ministry of Truth shall ensure that the imperial truth is respected in all the territories of the Holy Orenian Empire. Anyone who attempts to attack the honour of our Empire or explain an altered version of the imperial history shall suffer the consequences being punished by the Ministry of Truth. 

 

All the written newspapers and events that take place within the Holy Orenian Empire shall now have to totally respect the honour of our Empire and the imperial history. Otherwise, the Ministry of Truth shall censure the respective content and punish the authors who committed such infractions.

In order to make sure that the recent news always arrive to our citizens, we do announce the creation of the IMPERIAL PRINTS, the official newspaper of our Empire, that shall be supervised by the Ministry of Truth of the Holy Orenian Empire.

 

Also, we do thank all the journalists and other people who have already shown their interest in writing for the official newspaper of our Empire, and hope that more people join us in the future aswell.
