Est. 1777

On this day, the City of Helena Corporation declares its unwavering support for the Holy Orenian Empire.

We condemn the terrorists known as the Hangmen, and their devious attempts to sow dissent within the Holy Orenian Empire.

We stand behind His Imperial Majesty, in the pursuit of justice against the tyrant in Sutica, Corwin Alstreim, and the terrorists and states he surrounds himself with.

We encourage all imperial citizens above the age of majority to fight in the upcoming field battle as Irregular Auxiliaries of the Imperial State Army in order to defend Our Country against the evil Begrudged Alliance and their vile intentions.

In addition, given that a State of War does exist between the Holy Orenian Empire and the Begrudged Alliance, the Ministry of the Interior has given instructions to the City Government and to the Livery Companies of Helena to start a massive production of weapons, armors and other types of war material in order to supply our brave soldiers of the Imperial State Army.

Together, we will defeat our enemies and avenge the murder of Peter Amadeus at the hands of the tyrant Corwin Alstreim!

Orenians, to War! Orenians, to Victory! God save the Emperor!

ISSUED ON 23 H.F. IN THE YEAR OF OUR LORD 1777,

HIS EXCELLENCY, SIR EDWARD GALBRAITH, MINISTER OF THE INTERIOR.

THE HONORABLE, JERMAINE J’MAULT, LORD MAYOR OF HELENA.

Caesar looked at the poster, tapping the pommel of his blade “Finally, I can prove myself worthy in battle” He smiled, preparing himself for the war

Thor O’Hara stares at the missive with confusion “Isn’t Helena the capital of Oren? What a waste of time and effort for this notice as the war has been going on now for years and Helenians were the first to wage war... Its like saying they would join themselves in this pointless war they started years later. Oh wait, it is like that.” He chuckles to himself before crumpling the paper, putting it away for later use.

Adrianna would sigh as she set the missive down upon a countertop, her hands already worn and tired from her ceaseless cooking to feed the soldiers of the honourable ISA. Turning her attention into the kitchen, she’d tie her hair back and tighten the apron around her waist, the words of the minister and mayor providing her a new enthusiasm.
”Dio ci aiuti,” she’d uttter to herself as she got to work preparing food once more!

The imperial agent sat in his dwelling, utilizing a wide ink marker to blot out classified material in numerous operation files. He caressed his prosthetic hand every now and then, the phantom pains lingering from his missing hand. Never would the undersecretary forget the sacrifice he made to escape that Sutican detention center, the proverbial wolf chewing off his own paw to survive.

Via screeching newsboy, the missive was tossed through the window of his home. Almost instinctively, he lowered the marker down upon the parchment, as if treating it like any other bit of top-secret intelligence. Yet the agent recoiled upon realization, and the subliminal strands of mellowness formed inside his largely empty self. Having served Orenia for so long in the treacherous dark, he was met with contentedness, as he noted Helena’s undisputed and resolved unity in the sun, with nothing to hide.

Lavreth looks at the missive quite confused “so who the **** have we been slaughtering over and over again in battles if Helena hasn’t been there. Pathetic attempt of propaganda”

Corwin von Alstreim translates the leaflet from Josephite Newspeak to Common.

“We have no soldiers left, we have no armor left, our dictionary lacks the definition of ‘tyrant’, die for us.”

He chuckled. “I don’t mind if you do.”

Antonyus Horen shared a cup of tea with his 2 brothers and Corwin in the Hangmen Keep .

“I’m going back to the fields of war today, not to stab … but to slap. Maybe they’ll wake up and open their eyes.”

Risky Ralph laughs as he screamsThat face when you have no new allies, and so few victories, that you are forced to release propaganda declaring that your Capital supports the Empire due to lack of potential content”. He then shows a few of his friends a funny drawing prior to preparing for the upcoming war crimes that he looks forward to committing.

Donald the Damned peers long and hard at the notice, making sure it’s not some drug induced hallucination. “Breaking news boys. The Empire has discovered that water is wet!”

Ah, yes. Let us mobilise oren, years after we declare war, as oren! How smart indeed!, spoke Oliver Helane, sitting calmly.

Lulubelle Starbreaker stands at the gates into the mountain Kingdom of Urguan. To the left she sees the Hangmen Fort and Helena’s capital in the distance, young Umros sent to die against gristled mercenaries and her fellow Legionnaires. To her right she sees the distant plume of smoke and cinders rising into the sky over Korvassa and the army of demons fortifying their position there, an affront to all Yemekar’s creation. The Umgorumm lass sighs, shaking her head.
