To the Blessed Citizenry of Haelun’or, and those beyond our gates…

In light of recent connections and bonds being formed, a formal invitation is extended to the Great Titan, Azdromoth, and his brood for a Grand Masquerade to rejoice the Midsummer as it settles upon us like fruit upon the vine. Even those who hail from outside our walls are welcome to this event. To those in attendance, there is a simple dress code that you may follow as closely or loosely as you wish. Don the colors of ash and fire, black and red, and join us within Lareh’thilln’s Heart to dine, chat, and dance the night away with lliran in close reach.

And to those who attend from outside our city, you are more than welcome to revel and bask in the warmth and joy of the Midsummer. It should be noted that when entering Lareh’thilln, you will be stripped of weapons and given a special stamp, which is a part of the event. There are three stamps to be found, the Bronze Scale, the Iron Scale, and the Silver Scale.

Along with this stamp collection, there is an array of events:

The Ouroboros Buffet

A nigh endless buffet of Kharajyr-styled dishes, provided by the chef Rha’kir. Along with this buffet, as any good buffet should have, wines to savour with it. The sign ups for the Crossed Claws Competition can be found  here, and later in the event the Firelands Scorch Challenge. There will be live music and likely a dance competition.

1.  The Crossed Claws Competition is a fighting competition overseen by the Tilruir’kha Ri’Haskir, featuring tournament style fighting with brackets. [PvP]

2.The Firelands Scorch Challenge, a challenge similar to that of the Haelun’or Trade Fair’s Acid Pit Challenge. Only, these chicken wings are back with a vengeance, with a specially cultured sauce made by the chef Rha’kir.

3.The Dance Competition, a competition with no real stakes. The winner walks away with bragging rights and a sense of accomplishment.

The buffet menu includes the following, provided by Rha’kir

Spoiler

Dragon Statue Sushi

A large sushi statue modeled after a typical western dragon in a defensive stance. It is quite the eye-catcher at the buffet station. The dragon is made out of the usual rice and seaweed. Yet, salmon strips have been used to resemble the scales and cucumber to make up for the dragon's eyes and claws. You will be given a plate with your favorite part of the dragon. This dish contains salmon, and possible traces of other seafood.

-Fire Dumplings-

These unique dumplings are a new sensation on your plate. They are filled with cooked mince beef that has been marinated with a chili powder in a hot pan. It's then been placed inside the dumplings, wrapping the dough around its contents to finish off the dish. They're a little spicy, but also greatly decorated with the help of chilis and paprika powder.

-Pulled Pork Rolls-

The pork is slowly roasted in a roast pan in a fire pit, you can then choose preferred sauces and spices to add to your personal bowl of pulled pork. It'll be mixed in a separate bowl with your garnish of choice. A small bed of coleslaw will be added to a sourdough bun, before your pork is placed on top, while another bun finishes it off.

-Greenflame Curry-

An option for our vegetarians and vegans. This curry exists fresh chickpeas, chopped tomatoes, green spinach, and rice. However, it is accompanied by a paste of smoked diced onion, dried chili, cooked in garlic cloves, ginger, coriander, cumin, masala, and last but not least tomato puree. It's a little spicy, a little warning for our dear vegetarian friends.

-Reaper Chicken Wings-

DISCLAIMER: EXTREMELY HOT. This our challenge for the bravest of souls who truly want to taste a dragon's fiery breath. A small plate of marinated chicken wings will be prepared for you with a sauce in a separate bowl. The sauce is extremely hot, made from specific chilis that has been cultivated by local Kharajyr.  The chili's nickname is Tongue Reaper (Carolina Reaper)  for a reason. Be very careful when consuming this meal. You'll be supplied with free milk to soothe your throat in case it gets too spicy.

-Dragonfruit Parfait-

Our dessert! A small, capped jar filled with sweet mousse, whipped cream, and cherry sauce! The jar is filled with three separate flavors of mousse, starting from the bottom you have a layer of pink dragonfruit, vanilla, and last, raspberry mousse. Another layer made from whipped cream that has been induced with buzz button for a tingling sensation for your tongue sits on top of the mousse. It's topped off by a spoonful of cherry sauce

Drinks available with Buffet, these are not listed due to the wide variety.

Muja’s Glassblowing Workshop

A Glassblowing led by the Kha’Tigrasi Muja, going over the basics of how to blow the glass. Those attending will be giving some glass to blow into a delicate draconic keepsake. Due to the nature of this class, the numbers allowed in at a time will be limited to prevent workshop injuries and chaos.

The Scavenger Hunts

Yes, Scavenger Hunts. Plural. Due to the success of the first Scavenger Hunt hosted by the office of the Okarir’hiylun, there will be TWO during this event. Yet, they are nowhere near the same caliber.

1. The Codex Clue Hunt , a Scavenger Hunt based upon finding the code to the locked cache at the starting point through a series of clues. The contents of this cache is awarded solely to the Winner.

2. Conversation Hunter , A Scavenger Hunt based upon one core idea; Interaction. Individuals must interact with everyone at the event to the best of their ability, seeking out the ones who hold rewards for them. There are five rewards to be found, and you’ve just got to figure out who it is. That’s what makes it a hunt.

The Thul’ceru Meter

A little game, based upon just strong your swing is. Celiasil, the Okarir’tir, will oversee this and may make commentary upon your swings. Don’t get too feisty with him if he does, and most definitely don’t take a swing at him. He’s just trying to get you to hit the bell as hard as you can! And yes, you do win a prize if you hit hard enough.

 Vendors

Small vending carts will be available on a first come, first serve basis for those who wish to peddle a few wares during the festival. We ask of you but one thing; sell unique items. Imported goods that are not your own will be frowned upon.

The Finest Silks and Cottons

A competition to make up for the lack of one at the Haelun’or Trade Fair, hosted by the Tilruir’lin Celestia Astramaris. Anyone who has come in the dress code may join  in on this, and the hostess will have the attending crowd vote every round, where the contestant with the least vote is graciously seen off the stage.

The Night’s Finale

As our festival draws to a close, a large bonfire will be lit by the winner of a raffle. In order to enter this raffle, an individual must have bought a Dragon Egg Charm from the vendor and been marked down appropriately. These charms are to be kept by everyone who buys one as a little keepsake from the event. After the bonfire is lit, the night will be brought alive by fireworks provided by locals with skill in this area.

Brandt Barclay smirks as he learns of yet another Haelunorian fest, remembering the fun times of the last one he went to. The man then went to prepare his clothing while contemplating about "the Great Titan", perhaps with a little uncertainty.
