THE ADLER COMMISSION

First enacted into law during the Imperial Senate session of 1758-1760, the Orenian Revised Code (ORC) has served as the statutory compendium of law civil and criminal of Our commonwealth for nearly three decades. Three centuries of Orenian jurisprudence lends itself to the Code. It is, among other documents, a cornerstone of the constitution, and thus constant care is required of it. Since its promulgation, continuous legislation by the Diet has left significant parts of the Code out-of-date. To the end that it be kept refined, improved upon, and receive the modernization to which it is due, Their Imperial Majesties therefore call upon a commission of men to be formed, to whom the enormity of the charge be assigned and triumphed over.

 

The men shall be as follows:

1.  The Most Hon. Chief Justice Joseph Adler SCJ, Chairman of the Commission @wealthypiano
2. The Most Hon. Justice Farooq Gray SCJ @Thatpyrodude
3. His Excellency The Solicitor-General Basileos Baelius, J.D. SSE @MCVDK
4. The Rt Hon. The President of the House of Commons George Galbraith @MrChenn1
5. Sir Edward Galbraith KM, J.D. SSE @sergisala
6. Mr. Adrian Helvets, J.D. SSE @Draeris
7. Mr. Leonaard Skingaard, J.D. SSE @yopplwasupxxx
8. Mr. Percival Halcourt @LithiumSedai

 

At the completion of the commission’s charge, to be judged by the Chairman or by majority-vote, a report and revision of the Orenian Revised Code is to be submitted to the House of Commons in Diet for special review.
