Dear Mr Dagre’sae,

At this point your ridiculous vendetta against me is nothing but hilarious. You have tried to come against me more than I can count, calling me impure, undead, shade and I believe you have even called me a witch once.

Funny how all of these have been proven wrong?

Firstly, when power was taken from Malaurir Acaele Lazul, I was not in the city. I joined long after you and your lunatic, violence driven mob ran around the Silver City, burning banners. I challenged Malaurir Ikur sullas for Maheralship - It was asked ‘Would someone wish to challenge the Maheralship’ - I did.

Not for being power hungry, but for the love I have my for my citizens. I breath for them and I live for them.

Not once have I plotted against a Maheral, I urge you to cease spreading lies immediately as it is against the Silver Laws.

My accusations for conspiring against Malaurir Iaria Elervathar were cleared by herself and her husband, Malaurir Dimaethor Elervathar.

You also mention me leaving the city, I was stripped away of my Okarirship and I am allowed to step outside the walls of Silver as much as you are, as much as everyone else is. I would also like to mention that by indicating my impurity for residing outside the walls, you also claim the impurity of all Malauriran residing outside of those very walls as well.

Do you claim to be above a former Maheral, Mr Dagre’sae?

You talking of taxes, utterly despises me. I am an Uradir, Dagre’sae; descending onto such a lesser level as taxation makes me nauseous.

The Common Maehr’sae fund was made for us to ensure the flow of lesser workforce as well as to keep the trading with the lesser nations alive. They do and will always use the Skygod Minaan. It was fully voluntary to participate in it and no one was forced to buy anything.

You also speak of a revolution. I am not a violent Mali, I do not care for such. As I remember, you headed into the citadel with swords raised against Mali’thill. I was also not privy to any information regarding said revolution, I was not involved in it. Tell me, how can you expect me to join a movement I had no knowledge of?

Was it you who Malaurir Azorella chose to be their Tilruir’mali? Was it you who She chose to be their successor for Okarir’mali? No, it was not. It does not matter how many Mali you think are more competent than I, the late Malaurir Azorella knew my potential and knew that I would never let the Motherland down.

Sulraell Visaj’s declaration. How funny you still talk about this, even after knowing I was misguided and misinformed. I would have never signed such a declaration if I knew what it meant in reality.

I have always believed in the Maheralship, no one is above the Maheral. For this, you may ask all Malauriran who knows me.

Lastly, did you ever join the public assemblies? It was me who had to be removed for questioning the Diarchy, it was me who almost faced charges for raising my opinion. It was me who defended Sillumiran being removed simply because they voiced an opinion. It was me, who publicly disagreed with the Elervathar Diarchy.

Your missive is filled with more lies than I can say words within a week, I thought much higher of you, Mr Dagre’sae.

Signed,

Nuala Uradir, a servant

A matriarch put forth her statement on this latest addition to the back and forth, the paper itself disgruntled to be there, scratched out in black color.

”To the Ms. Uradir,

One truly wishes to support you, who has shown the guts to actually issue a challenge, although initially blundered, in a government you do not necessarily support nor understand, as evidenced by that blunder.

How ever, to receive one’s vote, you will have to forge some semblance of self respect. You are not a servant, as you sign yourself off to be. You are not less than any other ‘thill, the Maheral is not above you, as has been drilled into your head by actual lessers.

Denounce the Diarchy. Neither of them were Maheral, that much is clear to Us all. All they sought to do was create a generation of subordinates, as they have made of you. The truth is that you will never be able to lead from the Council if you do not even respect yourself enough to acknowledge that you stand equal to the rest of Us.

Thine Author refuse to pity you or put you below, ‘servant.’ One desires you to stand up and state thy declaration as a woman of silver to be an active, eager replacement for Our altogether vanished Okarir’nor. Get your damned priorities straight and say what you are going to do, now, not what you have done in the past. What are your ideas, ‘servant?’ What new institutes will appear upon your theoretical election?

We’re listening, We’re all waiting, and you’re just arguing with illiterates. This is nonsense.

Laurir Aiera Sullas”

maehr’sae hiylun’ehya,

Laurir Aiera Sullas”

To Laurir Sullas,

I am no less then any other Mali’thill, by servant I mean a servant of the Motherland. It is within my pleasure to call myself a humble servant of the Motherland. No less and no more than any other Mali’thill.

The Maheralship for me is something much greater than I can understand. In its simplest form, I believe the Maheral to be sort of a painting of Larihei, made by Larihei. I will always believe in the sancitity of the Maheralship, mayhaps different than you do.

No once has ever anyone asked what did I think of the Elervathar Diarchy, simply me almost marrying Malaurir Elervathar made everyone assume that I was within their grasps, used as a puppet.  I disagreed with them in most occasions.

However, I do admit that I do not believe fully believe in the current system. I believe in a system we once had, however something not as flawed. Perhaps a system different than we have ever had before.

But, we are run by a certain system right now and I shall respect that, as it is the wish of the people. I serve my citizens.

What will I do as Okarir’nor?

Firstly, I wish to create a team of competent Mali helping me run the daily operations of the office.

Secondly, it is within my wishes to begin working and reinstating the Common Maehr’sae fund for all volunteers to participate in.

Thirdly, I want to start mending the relations we have with the lesser nations and begin to work on trade deals et cetera.

Lastly, there are two things – Laurir Seregon has done an impeccable job with the Merchant district but there are some things I wish to change within, evolve it into something more, polished. Then there is an inventory to have, making a list of all resources we have within the Silver Bastion.

These are one of the many things I am going to achieve within the first hundred days of my election.

Some do not agree with me and some do, however as I have stated my loyalties are to the Motherland.”

Signed,

Nuala Uradir

The same day, a response followed from Elathion.

An apt title for your missive. Indeed, quite a lot of lies. Let me adress them all.

First, you mention a vendetta I might have against you, and cite a bunch of things I allegedly accused you of. I have called you none of these things, except Impure, which I firmly stand by. Things that I have called you, and still stand by are incompetent, inactive, disloyal, selfish and a megalomaniac.

It is true that you were not in the city at the time of the trial and the revolution taking place. Infact, most of the Okariran were noticeably absent, that they couldn’t even produce a prosecutor to trial me. You claim me and my lunatic, violence driven mob ran rampant through the city, burning banners. Anyone that was there can tell you that violence was not present, with the Sohaer surrendering peacefully and a singular man being arrested for resisting, being released afterwards. No banners were burned, although the red banners were eventually taken down and replaced by the Republic’s blue. You challenged Ikur’s maheralship, and without anyone’s approval, sat yourself down on the accursed throne of the Diarchy. It resulted in yourself being shamed.

I did mention you leaving the city. Do not consider it similar to a Malaurir leaving the city. The circumstances behind you leaving the city, coupled with the fact that you claim your loyalty has always and will always belong to Haelun’or made it worth mentioning. In no way is this me putting myself above the Malaurir. Please cease trying to use these strawmen. Trying to speak bad of me will not help you in the upcoming election, as I will not be running.

You, an Uradir, are above taxes? That is strange, because under your supervision, the stalls were still taxed. I know this, because I paid those taxes. I was not talking about housing tax, which was never implemented, so you’re wasting your breath coming at me for it. Surely, you managed to contain your nausea to collect my taxes every year. Stop lying and pretending you didn’t tax shops just like I did. You just used an incredibly inefficient system to track those taxes.

As you remember, I headed into the citadel with swords drawn against fellow Mali’thill? I thought you were not present? And if you had been present, you would know that swords were only drawn when the Sohaer refused to relinquish his power to the people. Such is only natural during a revolution, or coup. That said, the sword I drew that day did not get bloodied. We did not expect you to join our revolution, but fleeing the city after not being granted Maheral is still a show of poor character.

Again, it is irrelevant if Azorella chose me to be anything, I am not running for anything, and even if I was, it would not have mattered. It also does not matter for you that Azorella appointed you to this or that position. All that matters is that you did a relatively poor job, frequently screamed about how you were an Okarir and thus should be obeyed, and then didn’t feel confident enough to run for your position again when it was decided positions had to be voted in again.

Of course I bring up Sulraell’s declaration. The fact that you were misinformed about the context of the text you put your name under makes me question either your intelligence, your ability to read or both, as the words very clear to all who read them.

If my missive was filled with more lies than you can say in a week, then it must be because you are incapable of thinking up more than a single sentence in an entire week.

Signed, Elathion Dagre’sae

PS. All that stuff you listed was already done. We’ve garnered more money in donations than you ever did with your Maehr’sae fund. The storage is quite well stocked. This has been done by several of our citizens, out of their own free will. Trade deals have helped us regain a semblance of our former wealth, too.

Please don’t pin other people’s achievements to your chest again, in the unlikely event that you do get elected.

Nuala Uradir responded, seeming ever so placid.

Lies and even more lies. Doesn’t the constant lying tire you, Mr Dagre’sae?

You claim many things without having anything to back them up with.

When it comes to the actualy revolution as you call it, it saddens me how you are willing to steer away the people from the truth. The banners were burnt as witnessed by Malaurir Dimaethor Elervathar who actually tried to stop you, but you met him merely with insults.

For me, when you raise a sword you are prepared to either defend yourself or spill the blood of others; and there you were, sword facing upwards.

Me pledging my loyalty to the Motherland does not require me to live within Her walls. There are many ‘thill living outside the walls, including Malauriran still loyal to the state but remain live outside.
I was stripped of my Okarirship, I became a citizen without responsibilities – All the years I worked non-stop, ensuring the betterment of our bastion, I deserved the break. In addition, I was not asked to join the new council, I was not asked to remain within the council and I was never asked to run for the new council. I also have a husband living outside the walls I liked to meet once in a while.

When it comes to the common Maehr’sae fun, I already mention it was fully voluntary, shops were included with mandatory participation, ti. However, those who came to speak directly to me were exempt from this participation, I suppose you were too busy cooking your vendetta to come and see me, shame.

When it comes to my frequent screaming, it was in occasions were you showed insubordination. Standing against a Malaurir giving you a direct order or you causing ruckus within the walls of silver. Do not blame me for hoping to maintain at least a modicum of order.

This will be quick, Sulraell Visaj told me that can they add my signature to a petition, not a statement. As my grandchild, I decided to trust them to add my signature. That is a mistake on my part, I can not undo it but I can apologize and regret.

Lastly, if it is within the wishes of the citizens not to vote for me, so be it. Rather than let your idle attempts at insulting me affect my nomination, it shall be up to the people.”

Signed,

Nuala Uradir

“Many words to say 'I do not denounce the Diarchy’.

As a professional saber-rattler I care not to engage in debates about economies, but you’ve done a somewhat decent job of parrying the question. -Lysio Hestonnis”
