[!] The missive seems to have been worn away, torn in some areas, and muddied. The messages are no longer recognizable.

Rufus Knowise inspects the article, beginning to visibly tremble as he begins to realize the situation he could possibly be getting in. He looks around, hopping nobody notices him in his anxious condition. He slowly creeps along to his burrow, continuing to stay quiet as he continues to break down on the spot. He moves into his burrow, looking around frantically as he suddenly and near-completely breaks down. He screams, beginning to hyperventilate as he slowly crawls along on the floor of his burrow as he panics, unsure what to do as fear strikes into him. He would finally crawl into a closet, rolling up into a ball as he rambles to himself, hyperventilating and crying. He doesn't say anything, but is quite evidently not in his right mind. He continues to lay there in his ball until he would faint, sleeping there in his tears.

From within the woods of the Elvenesse, near a certain halfling village, a denizen of the wood would rouse itself from its pale slumber, pulling itself free of the bark which cradled it in a sweet, invigorating embrace. It would hear the murmurs of fright and debate of such an intrusion, fractured as its understanding of the descendant tongue was. However, it understood the emotion of fear well enough...

And it would strive to show this new intruder the true meaning of such. With a series of deep gashes upon the trees bordering the village, it would make its presence known. Intelligent eyes would watch from the surrounding underbrush, watching. Waiting. Stalking... For now.

Bear Mowood cannot read. She remains blissfully ignorant, having slept through the whole situation.

"Knox...I quite loved him and his halfling eating habits in my youth...though not quite the way I loved the rose..." Wither would muse, trailing off and tracing her fingers along an old painting she had done of her once dear friend. "I'll never forget that headless waltz..." The moment of reminiscing now over once more, she turns her attention and affection back to the task of cutting down wood for her violins, albeit in a slower fashion than in the old worlds, given the limited resources and sudden effort required. Her owl watches over with a cautious gaze, hooting once to get her attention. A mouse thus tossed and sent down his gullet, Wither would add one last comment. "...But that time has come and passed, I'm aging and he's a demon now, or so they say, Zlo."

Jeannette Applebottom scowled. The young High Pumplar felt deeply stressed by the situation and claims being made, "Whoi d' t'ey keep doin' t'is! Lord Knox es nay demon, who's ter say a God cannae do t'e same as 'e did? Furthermore, e's ta God of chaos! T'e stupid 'alflin' tried ter kill 'im! 'ow up yer own arse can ya be ter try 'n kill God?" She went on an exasperated rant, "All t'is proves es t'at Cyris' claims were fake, which oi, t'e mouthpiece o' Knox, ALREADY tol' every'un!"

Mondy Applefoot shovelled bread into her mouth, "'alflin' conspiraceh 'heorists 're gettin' ou'a control, Filiber'," She remarked through a mouthful.

Bassett struggled up from his bed, reading through the missive with a weak, inquisitive scowl. Recalling all of the encounters he and this Knox, be it the real, or his suspected deceiver, have had. However once wasn't enough, so the sick man staggered over to his desk to read it two more times. His curious expression only growing more as each piece of information proceeded through his brain. "Weh need Lord Knox, for our endless source of 'ope an' pride. 'owever- 'his 'Lord Knox' certainly 'as s'owed 'imself as somew'at of an imposter... only time will tell if its 'rue.... jus' wish oiy coul' see t'is miself stead of readin' it off a darn piece of partchment..."

"This doesn't surprise me." Alfie commented to his wife Dandelion. "Considering the rascal that Monkey Peregrin is, why not add the moniker of blasphemer."
