Elvenesse Breach of Neutrality

Lynette Stewart reads the missive, suddenly looking around her in fright as she is located.. No, stuck, in the Halfling Village of Bramblebury, placed neatly inside of Elvenesse's border.

She mumbles nervously under her breath, "Oh, lord..."

She looks down towards the floor, her eyes resting on the wooden splint on her leg, the thing holding her inside the Crown's territory. "Why now, why today?? It couldn't happen next month?! When I'm healed and able bodied?"

She grits her teeth, her eyes narrowing, "If this country is killing innocents and those undeserving, they will feel cold hard steel before the day is done..

Carlos Mendez rested comfortably in the solemn company of himself. He gave a firm sigh at the sight. Lowering it from eyesight as his gaze drifts to the door. “Lovely, more fu*kin’ war.” He snarled, tossing it onto the carpet below.

A particular elf read over the missive, brushing a few strands of ivory hair from their face, they let out an audible huff through their nose, their face unchanged, always rested in a smile. The amber-hued eyes watched over the woodlands they had wandered through for long, they lacked the full story, and they knew that, but they couldn't help but fold the missive over, placing it along the remaining others that compiled a tale of a hated kingdom.

Adelheid would sit quietly in the guest bedroom, her forearms still healing from the other days adventures. “I hope Leona and Fey are alright...” she’d think out loud, eyes turning to the window. The missive being placed on her bedside table shortly after.

Daibhidh Sutharlainn, owner of the Sutherland Trading Company, read the post, and has start considering to halt all trade between his company and Elvenesse until this event is resolved. Moreover, Elvenesse does not contribute a significant part of the trading company's revenue anyways...

"I hope the Elvenesse Mali enjoyed my present... I heard it was quite destructive" The mage cackled lightly her eyes narrowing to cat-like slits while she paused to finish reading over the missive "You attack thy' innocent, and kill thy' family. All of this for what? All because they defended themselves in the heat of a life or death battle. That makes you a nation full of murderers." She dropped the slip of paper into the cracking fire before her watching as it crumbled into nothing more than ash "The magi will know of your wrong doings... they will know you slit our throats for being sorcerers of the void." leaning forward stands of golden hair fell infront of her face while she began to put ink upon a blank slate of paper.

After having read the missive, Oryl furrowed his brows. His jaw set, and he crumpled it up in his fist. He tossed it into the corner of his now barren room. "... She burned my daughter. I reserve a place on my pommel for all who rise to take her side." The warrior paused at his doorway, turning to look back into the dark room. His fingers drifted over the many braids of hair affixed to the pommel of his sword. "To death or dishonor - let all who oppose me know the strength of a father's love." His voice drifted across the once lively room, with naught but cobwebs and old wood shavings to hear his vow. Oryl dipped his head in solemn salute to the shadow of his past, before securing his blade to his back, and heading out into the woods.

Kor'garr peers curiously at the new missive, his brows furrowing while crimson eyes scan down across the paper. The grey orc's gaze slowly turns to another paper currently laid upon the forge's table, staring blankly at the similar message declared by his own Rex. Back left. Slowly to the right once more. A rictus grin between two thick tusks is the only warning before his frame doubles over in explosive mirth, harsh barks of deep laughter shaking his entire body. "KAHAHAHAHAH!" The new message crumples slightly in his clenched fist as Kor'garr slams it upon the table multiple times, other hand wiping off a tear of glee from his jubilant expression. "Zoh, evin dah zootykinz dun'nub lyke dah zoggin' twiggehz... Diz wihl bi ah bub'hozher wagh dehn Kor'garr grukk'd."
